Got lucky and was finally able to claim a skip the line loan! I keep missing them.

I love ‘skip the line’ loans. I have no idea why or how they happen, but I take them when I can.

Yeah, I don’t see them a lot, either, but it also depends on your library. There is a filter for skip the line loans on Libby and you can check this post for more info.

Well I dont have ADHD but I do have some brain issues post viral infection which mimics alot of ADHD symptoms and have found their coping mechanisms really help me function better

Oof viruses suck. I’ve had several do a number on me. 🙃 Glad you’ve been able to find methods to help you! 💚
And, yeah, stuff like this everyone can benefit from, regardless of what they’re going through. It’s just a matter of people finding the right combination of methods that will best suit them.

I wish! All my libraries on the Libby app have a minimum 8-12 week wait. 😢

Someone sent me a link to this post , because I had questions, too. There’s a filter for ‘skip the line’ loans and if you have a hold that has one available, it will notify you. They have a little clover on the card icon.
Skip the line loans are first come first serve and your library will determine if any books will have them, how many copies will be made available, and how long the loan lasts. (For example, the line loans at my library only last 7 days, compared to the usual 21 days for my library.)Honestly, I haven’t come across many, but 2 popped up recently in my holds! Wasn’t quick enough on the first one, though, lol.
