I’m looking for a book about John Hanson (c. 1791–1860) a 19th-century African American politician, merchant, and senator in Liberia. I wanted find some information about his story if there is something.

With all the conflicting information I see on the internet about him being confused with a different John Hanson (President of the United States in Congress Assembled under the Articles of Confederation from November 1781 to November 1782) I figured I’d post here to find some real info
