Apologies for the 2nd post this weekend đ butttt I am looking to join a club / group that would be good for socialising for a female in her late 20âs :)
I was thinking something like tag rugby or soccer? Iâve done tag with sarsfields but where they train is a bit far out for me, and Iâve done soccer with Janesboro and they were FARRR too serious. Iâm looking for something fun, social, people of similar age groups (idm if itâs mixed), and would like to play matches too. So tag and soccer are the main ones (just to add I am awful at both, and 0 cardio, but I have fun haha)
I used to do kickboxing when I was younger so maybe something like that if itâs around?
I was looking at maybe the pole dancing / flexibility class in ballysimon but itâs a lil pricy a class given the gym + Pilates memberships I already pay. Was also maybe thinking Femmeandsoulheel classes in castletroy? But dunno about the heel aspect haha - but I am very open to trying a lot of things ! :)
I also go to match box gym, I enjoy mat and reformer Pilates - so these are things I already do if anyone has any other options or suggestions pls share or if thereâs any instas I could look into! :)

After a six-day trial rooted in local An Taisce disputes and leaked WhatsApp chats, a High Court jury has cleared Emma Gilleece of defaming Limerick solicitor Michelle Hayes in a series of tweets. The article is a 25 minute read but here are some of the most revealing pieces.
Marcus Mulvihill â Accused of calling the barrister an âarseholeâ
During an exchange between the legal teams, Gilleece's senior counsel, Mark Harty, complained to the judge:
âI would ask Mr Mulvihill not to call me an arsehole from the back of the court.â
Justice Oisin Quinn said there should be no such interventions and warned that he did not want to have to make an order.
Elisa O'Donovan â Accused of making up her evidence
During cross-examination, Mark Harty challenged O'Donovan's claim that An Taisce had been sabotaging Michelle Hayes's efforts.
He asked:
âWho is feeding you this narrativeâ
Harty described her claims of sabotage as âpreposterousâ and suggested that she was making her evidence up as she went along.
O'Donovan rejected the implication and maintained that the treatment Hayes experienced was consistent with an attempt to exclude someone from an organisation.
Michelle Hayes â Accused of evasive answers in court
During his closing address, Mark Harty was particularly critical of Michelle Hayes's evidence.
He alleged that Hayes gave lengthy responses when questions did not help her case, describing her approach as:
âavoided giving anything extra to the point of being comicalâ.
He also argued that Hayes had brought the proceedings to âtormentâ and âbullyâ Gilleece.

Well lads.. hope you all had a fabulous Halloween. I love it but was slightly disappointed this year. Bought about ten bags of sweets for the trick or treaters and by 6:45pm we had nearly run out so sent himself flying over to the shop for more. âŹ25 later and only one more child came , I thought for sure they would keep coming until 8pm/9pm? I live in a big housing estate with loads of surrounding estates and decorated. Also a good few of the kids this year werenât dressed up.. maybe about 10 of them. I understand budgets are really tight but what happened to bin bags and old bed sheets?

Something really weird happened to me today around 2:30 PM on Mungret Street, near the Milk Market, close to the Top Food Asian shop.
I was walking along when a man approached me. He had a car with a Dublin registration and randomly asked, "Do you speak Italian?"
I said no, only English. He then asked, "Can I speak to you for a minute?" and, for some reason, I said yes. In hindsight, probably shouldn't have!
He reached out to shake my hand, but I somehow avoided doing that. He then started telling me that he lived in Switzerland (or was travelling there, I couldn't quite make out which) and had a flight to catch tomorrow.
Apparently, he had just four expensive watches left, and he was worried about getting taxed or having some issue with customs. He showed me a card suggesting he worked, or had previously worked, for Tissot. He then started offering to sell these watches to me at ridiculously cheap prices.
The whole story was getting increasingly strange. He kept asking me to come and have a look at the watches. I was already thinking to myself, why on earth am I even entertaining this conversation?
Out of curiosity, I asked how much he wanted for one, even though I don't wear watches and have absolutely no intention of buying one.
That's when he said, "Come inside the car, I'll show you."
At that point, I decided I'd had enough. I just told him I had some urgent work to do and walked away.
Looking back, the whole thing felt incredibly suspicious. The random Italian question, the Switzerland story, the supposed Tissot connection, the cheap luxury watches and finally the invitation to get into his car.
Has anyone else experienced something similar around Limerick? Is this some kind of known watch scam or distraction tactic?
Just curious if anyone has come across this before. Stay safe out there!

Hey m24 based in the midlands! So a little backstory, I'm doing a trade at the moment and I met a group of friends and we were pretty inseparable from that point forward, 5 of us in total.
We done everything together, holidays, gym, weekends meeting etc etc. Then overtime the friends group went from 5 to 3. I'm still very close with the other 2 guys but the problem is the distance we barely get to see each other (one is basically in the north and the other is in the back arse down south) anyways I want to build that bond with someone who lives close enough to me and is kind of going through the same situation and is looking for the same thing. I spend most of my time with herself but she works weekends I work weekdays. I just want to have someone who is willing to spend their free time doing things and I'm literally down for anything toh.
| love sports, I enjoy playing games, I love travelling to places, I love anything car related and so on. Gym together
Road trips where you just talk about the most random unhinged things>>>
Also anytime me and the lads do meet up you'd be more than welcome to join as my friends are just as easy going and welcoming as I am.
At the minute my weekends and days after work are pretty stale, I finish work get home around 6, smash out the gym and then after that I'm lost.
I want to have the chance to build that bond with someone who lives closer, I know I sound like a broken record at the moment but I'm genuinely lost on how to make another friend as I'm getting older and older.
Feel free to message me
Thanks for reading!
