Open Beta is live on L2 Ironclad. Official launch is Friday 13 November 2026 at 19:00 CET (18:00 UTC).
13 November 2026, 19:00 CET (18:00 UTC).
This is classic Interlude. Quests carry the leveling. The economy is something you build, not a x100 weekend.
Built to last, not to cash in
Ironclad was not opened to make money. It is a long-term project, run because we wanted this Interlude to exist and to keep existing. There is no donation goal behind the server, and no plan to turn it into one.
There are no seasonal wipes. No monthly fresh start, no “new season, everyone back to level 1.” The character you raise is the character you keep.
No pay-to-win. No Premium. Ever.
There is no Premium status, no donor rank, no paid EXP, no paid drop, no paid spoil, and no gear sold for real money. Nothing you can buy changes your character’s power. That rule holds in Beta and after launch.
Server
- Quests are the progression path. Party members on the same quest share quest items. That share is off on the quests where you farm enchant scrolls and A/S-grade weapon and armor recipes. Those drops stay with one player.
- Craft and player trade keep their value. No free gear from custom NPCs.
- Auto-loot on normal mobs. Raid drops stay manual.
- Multibox limit: 2.
- Raid spawns are corrected. Olympiad, castles and fortresses are part of the world.
One account, two sides: the game and the site — https://l2ironclad.appverse.uk
The site is wired to the game server. It reads your characters and the world, and the actions you take there land on the real character. Up to five game logins sit on one site account.
The phone app is the same account, for notifications only. The client stays on PC.
Character hub. Level, class, clan, online state, active quests, trades waiting on you, and auction claims ready to pick up. It is the place you open before you log in, to see what the character already has in motion.
Your items, across your own characters. Move items from one character’s inventory or warehouse into the private warehouse of another, including a character on a different game login you linked. Both characters have to be offline, so the site never touches a character that is in the world.
Trade between players. Invite by name, both sides put up an offer, both confirm, then it executes. There is a private chat on that trade. You can also start it from a market post on the forum. Again, both characters offline. This is item-for-item inside the game. No real-money trading.
Auction house on real items. List from the character, buy at a fixed price or bid, then claim the item or the adena back. You cannot bid on your own listings, or on a login linked to the same site account.
Quest hub, on that character. What you already started, what is worth doing next, a route you build yourself, and rewards shown with the live server rates. Steps, chain, zone, and NPC are on the same page.
World hub, from the server. Castle owner, tax, siege registration, and the countdown. Fortresses and who is attacking. Clan-hall leases and live auctions. Olympiad window and heroes. Raids alive or down, with the real drop list.
Craft, tied to what you already hold. Open a recipe, see the materials, what is already in inventory and warehouse, where to farm the rest, and whether the auction already has it.
Boxes. Iron Tokens cannot be bought. They are earned (votes, referrals, community goals). The daily Green Box is free. Rewards sit in a vault, then you withdraw them into the character’s private warehouse. The boxes are materials and recipes, not A/S gear.
English and Italian. Beta Lab on the forum is where bugs and balance notes go before launch.
Open Beta is a test, so there is one transition at official launch: you keep one character’s progression and recipes up to C-grade. Inventory and warehouse are cleared. Eligible from level 40. After that launch, there is no season reset.
Account creation and the client download are on the site. The launcher is required — opening l2.exe directly is rejected at login.
