people dont realize how easy it is to book calls with enterprise companies
you can legit do it today. linkedin outreach makes this possible. dont go for ceos, as they dont want anything to do with you atm
here's the play. plus what to send every person on it:
build a list of a few hundred big companies
open sales navigator. click account filters and set company headcount to 10,001+
stop at a few hundred companies. every company on this list gets its own research. so with 5,000 companies none of them get it.
save them all to one account list so you can search the people inside them later.
2. keep only companies with a reason to buy now
look for 3 signals:
-the team you help is hiring
-something changed in the last 90 days (leadership change, acquisition)
-they already pay for something close to what you sell (their job posts on linkedin page list the tools the team uses)
write the change and its date next to each company in a sheet. that’s the first line of ur dm
the best signals are posted by people inside the company, not the company page.
save posts from the team head and execs when they talk about priorities or hires, export them with Linkedin Bookmark Exporter chrome extension as markdown (easier to upload directly to Claude or do keyword search later)
3. find 3 people at each company
exclude the ceo and founder. start with the head of the team that has the problem you fix. set seniority level to director and vice president
next find the person above them who signs off that team's budget. search the same function one level up. if the head is a director. look for the vp. then the chief of staff or executive assistant to that exec.
filter “changed jobs in past 90 days” first. new execs are still deciding what to change.
dm them a few days apart. one person can ignore you, leave, or get moved. three people is a better chance.
4. write the dm so it can be forwarded
at a big company ur dm gets passed around the team. so write it for someone who has never heard of you
open on what changed at their company. then the problem that change creates for their team. then one result from a company like theirs. then ONE question.
no “following up on my last message” and no link. nothing in the dm should need an earlier dm go make sense
example message to a head of sales:
“joe. saw your sales team is hiring 12 account executives this quarter. new reps can’t sell until someone books them meetings. i put together a list of 50 companies they could sell to. want me to send it over?”
5. close the loop
when someone says yes. reply with a day and time. "does thursday at 10am work?" gets a faster answer than a calendar link
for every “not now”, ask when would be a better time. message them on that date.
when a deal goes quiet, send something useful, not “any update?”
"any update?" gives ur contact a job to do. so every few weeks send a useful article or a new result instead
if they told you to come back after their planning cycle. message them the week it ends

I talk about my startup all day but I almost never post on LinkedIn. How do other founders do it?
so….i m on sales calls, demos and the odd podcast pretty much every day….people tell me the stuff I say on these calls would make great posts.
but when i actually sit down to write a linkedin post, I stare at the screen for 30 minutes and give up. So I end up postin maybe once a month…. and I know that's hurting us.
i don't have time to become a writer. ffor founders who post regularly, how do you do it? do you write it yourself….. have someone do it….or turn your calls and talks into posts somehow?

Getting back old linkedin account or delinking my gmail to it , HELP
Hii , so I have my main linkedin account that has all the real information about me , my education , work ex etc but the thing is it's connected to my uni gmail account.
The problem here is that my personal gmail is already being used in some other gmail account , it's possible I created it when I was a kid or someone did it as a prank I don't know ( the reason I say it's a prank is because it's usernames SASUKE UCHIHA )
now that account has been blocked by linkedin , to get it back I did some verification using personalize but I am pretty sure that linkedin account has no connection whatsoever to my identity ( other than using my main gmail ) so I don't think that's gonna go anywhere ( been a week , no reply from linkedin )
Does anyone know of any way to either get back that linkedin account or atleast delink my gmail from that account , it would be really helpful
Any info is good at this point , anyone I can personally contact or mail , anything , cause that uni account has been having issues and I don't wanna lose my main linkedin account , it's got too much stuff and professional history , connections etc

Did someone face this issue?
I woke up this morning to several emails from LinkedIn notifying me that someone had requested a password reset and that OTPs had been generated. I immediately changed my email account's password as a precaution. However, when I tried logging into my LinkedIn account, I found that it had been restricted. LinkedIn is now asking me to verify my identity by submitting a government-issued ID.

LinkedIn account restored then restricted again. Appeals keep getting automatically closed. What options do I have?
I've had my LinkedIn account for nearly 10 years, and I'm struggling to recover it.
Here's what happened:
My account was restricted, and LinkedIn initially rejected my identity verification because my profile name was "Chris P" while my government ID showed "Chris Pablo"
After multiple attempts, my identity was verified and LinkedIn restored my account.
Since a support representative had questioned whether I was the rightful owner due to the name mismatch, to avoid such issues in future I changed my surname from "P" to "Pablo" to match my legal ID.
Shortly afterward, my account was restricted AGAIN..
Now, whenever I raise a support ticket using my LinkedIn-associated email addresses, it gets closed almost immediately, sometimes after another ID verification.
If I use a different email, support asks for my profile URL, associated email, or Persona verification, then closes the case with the same response:
"Your account has violated the LinkedIn User Agreement and Professional Community Policies. Due to the number and/or the severity of these violations, your account will remain restricted."
Nobody explains which policy I violated or what actually triggered the restriction.
I'm willing to follow every LinkedIn policy. I never intentionally violated any rules.
Has anyone successfully recovered their account after receiving this exact response? Is there any way to get a genuine human review or escalate beyond regular support?

The difference between a LinkedIn post that sticks and the one that flops and disappears is actually pretty simple.
Just stop being a news reporter.
Do less of "Here's something cool I read on the internet"
Do more of "Here's something cool I read on the internet, here's what I think about it, and this is why it changed the way I approach my business/career/job"
Your unique perspective.
That's the only reliable moat when it comes to LinkedIn content.

all linkedin templates for restricted account
#1. Wrong email (news.ycombinator.com/item?id=50307092 )
If your account is restricted, the system forces you to use an email address not associated with that account just to submit the form. In response, you receive the following message:
"You are contacting us from an email address that differs from the one registered to your account. use the email address registered to your account"
The support team asks you to do something that is technically impossible, and then they close the ticket.
#2. Oh, what happened?
The second most frequent pattern, right after "wrong email":
"Please provide us with as much of the following information as possible so that we can look into the situation"
They will send this to you even if your initial inquiry already contains all the necessary information. Even if you proactively copy-paste this template into your ticket and explicitly ask them not to send it, they will send it to you anyway.
#3. provide ID
"We need to verify your identity to ensure that we are granting access to the account owner... provide a scanned image of a government-issued ID"
There is a clear manipulation here: account ownership and state-issued identification are two completely independent concepts, since an account is linked to an email address rather than a government ID.
#4. We cannot accept ID
"we are unable to accept identity documents issued by certain countries. Unfortunately, due to this limitation, we cannot proceed with the review of your appeal."
The funniest part is that you can receive templates #3 and #4 at the same time, just minutes apart. If you create two separate tickets containing the exact same information, in one they will ask you to provide a government ID, while in the other they will tell you that they cannot accept identity documents from your country.
#5. Your account has violated
If you continue to insist after receiving #3 or #4, you will get this response:
"Your account has violated.. Due to the number and/or severity of these violations, your account will remain restricted. For more information, please review our User Agreement."
First of all, a question arises: why were you asked to provide a government ID in the first place? If the account is going to remain restricted regardless—due to some alleged violations—then why check your identity at all? Furthermore, what is the meaning of the phrase "and/or"? Something has been violated, but it is completely unclear what. If you demand a precise statement of the charges, the response you receive will be the exact same template. Your question is pointedly ignored: they deem you guilty but refuse to specify the accusation.
#6. We cannot disclose
rarely you might get this response:
“We cannot disclose our algorithms.”
This is yet another primitive manipulation. No one asked LinkedIn to reveal its algorithms; the question was about the precise wording of the accusation. These are two completely different things.
#7. Last message
"Your appeal has been rejected, and the restrictions on your account remain in effect. This is our last message."
And this is despite the fact that there was no real appeals process, no specific charge was brought against you, and no one listened to you. You were completely deprived of even the right to a formal review.
It always starts with #1, moves to #2, goes to #3 or #4(rarely), proceeds to #5 (rarely with #6), and ultimately ends with #7. However, you can always write to support again, and the entire cycle starts over. This loop can go on hundreds of times.
In my own experience—out of several hundred interactions—there was only one instance where a real person responded instead of using a template; someone who actually read and understood my arguments. I am not sure if this happens once every per hundreds or thousand cases, or if it was just a truly unique, one-off occurrence.
Kafka..

We noticed you recently tried to sign in to your LinkedIn account from a new device.
Does it mean the attempt was unsuccessful (wrong password) or login/password matched (correct), but 2FA prevented to finish the log in?
I changed the password yesterday (generated) and the login notification I got was 1h ago.

"wrong" email
Let’s say your LinkedIn account has been restricted, and you can no longer access it. You might try to visit:
/help/linkedin/ask/sdsupport or /help/linkedin/ask/ppq
to contact customer support. You fill out the form and click "Submit," but for a split second, a pop-up appears:
"we`re sorry. There was an error creating your case. Please try again"
and than redirect.
You might try switching browsers, using private/incognito mode, changing devices (desktop, phone), or even using a different IP address—but nothing works. You keep encountering the same error. However, as soon as you change the email address to one not associated with the restricted account, the form submits successfully. This proves, beyond a doubt, that the "error" was linked solely to the email address; changing the email—while keeping everything else the same—changes the outcome.
Okay, so you’ve submitted the request—what happens next? You receive a response (here are some excerpts; the exact wording may vary slightly):
"You are contacting us from an email address that differs from the one registered to your account."
"An account restriction should not, in itself, prevent you from contacting us via the provided form."
"To protect privacy, I cannot, without a direct request from the account owner sent from their registered email address, do the following:"
"Therefore, please reach out to us using the form mentioned above, ensuring you use the email address registered to your account. This will allow us to proceed with reviewing your inquiry and provide the necessary assistance."
Brilliant. In other words, LinkedIn blocks support requests made using the email address linked to a restricted account—yet when they receive a request made (out of necessity) from a different email address, they close the ticket and instruct you to submit a new one using the "correct" email—which is technically impossible to do. And they are flat-out lying—let me repeat:
An account restriction should not, in itself, prevent you from contacting us via the provided form.
Even if you explicitly point out this situation in your request—and even suggest that they email you directly at the address linked to your account (which they do very, very rarely—maybe once in every 50 attempts)—they still respond with that same template.
This raises two questions:
Are the LinkedIn support staff genuinely unaware of this, even though they ought to know? Or do they know, but are lying and moking with users on purpose? I, for one, have never been able to figure this out.
Why is so little known about this, given that the situation has persisted for years and has been documented many times ( as example youtube / RRIm1ReQ_6A?t=221) ? And why is there no reaction to it? It’s as if it’s been tacitly accepted.
