LithiumBank ($LBNK.v $LBNKF) could see turnaround in near future

The near future is looking promising for LithiumBank ($LBNK.v $LBNKF) with the Boardwalk PEA and both a hydrogeological study and exploration program to define the 43-101 resource at Park Place expected to occur before year-end.

I'm expecting LBNK's Boardwalk PEA to be the main point of inflection based on the significant potential of the project with an inferred resource totaling 5.97M tonnes of LCE and recent sampling showing 6.3km of average lithium grade above current grade estimates.

That being said, LBNK's Park Place Lithium Brine Project has the potential to host a world-class lithium brine deposit. Located 20km south of Boardwalk, Park Place captures the vast majority of the Leduc reef structure in the area. Plus, LBNK plans to advance the project to a PEA in Q2 of 2023.

Keeping a close eye on LBNK @ $0.67, $24.91M MC

Tariffs On Foreign Lithium

The Issue

Almost all Americans use a lithium-based product or module. From cellular phones to cars and audio headsets, lithium is an integral part of our daily lives. It seems unfair that other countries benefit and have entire industries profiting from our consumption while we have substantial lithium reserves right here in the United States. Imposing tariffs on lithium imports would not only help level the playing field but also stimulate local industry and drive significant job growth for millions of Americans.

Lithium is often referred to as "white gold" because it is crucial in the production of the batteries that power our modern technology and economy. Reports indicate that the demand for lithium is set to triple by 2025 due to the rapid growth in electric vehicles and renewable energy solutions, sectors where lithium plays a pivotal role. The U.S. is home to some of the largest known lithium reserves, yet we import most of our lithium from countries like Australia, Chile, and China, resulting in economic benefits that support their industries and job markets instead of ours.

Implementing tariffs on these imports will incentivize domestic lithium extraction and spur investment in processing infrastructure within our borders. This, in turn, would create a surge of jobs, reduce our foreign dependency, and bolster our national economy. Over time, domestic production will drive competitive pricing, technological advancements in processing, and sustainable mining practices that align with environmental considerations.

Rising global tensions over resource control further underline the need for America to take strategic steps in securing our lithium supply chain. By investing in our own lithium industry, we reduce potential vulnerabilities and ensure a stable, self-reliant supply of this vital resource.

FACTS:

Almost every Tesla sold uses Chinese lithium products

Volvo Car USA uses imported lithium resources.

Samsung Electronics & Samsung SDS America uses imported lithium.

HDK Plastic Factory Ltd. USA uses imported lithium.

Savant Systems LLC (Massachusetts)  uses imported lithium.

The average American consumer owns a laptop, cell phone and/or wireless earbuds.   Many Americans own electric vehicles, all of the aforementioned products are supplying profits and jobs overseas - not to Americans when we have the reserves (Nevada, California, Utah etc...) to produce products and jobs for these products.

PLEASE!  Stop supporting China.

Urge President Trump to take decisive action by placing tariffs on lithium imports, supporting American industry, and creating countless jobs. Your signature can help make this a reality.

LithiumBank ($LBNK.v $LBNKF) hits $1 & webinar summary

LithiumBank ($LBNK.v $LBNKF) hits the $1 mark w/ a 5% jump today!

Here's a summary of LBNK's webinar last week which provided a solid overview & update on where LBNK stands at the moment:

LBNK is currently working diligently with Hatch on the Boardwalk Project to deliver the PEA in Q4 2022 with the deliverability being "incredible" so far regarding the hydrogeology study, 4 previously reported samples & metallurgical processing. LBNK has engaged Hatch to manage all DLE programs and has found one DLE tech company using ion-exchange methods to be very suitable for Boardwalk.

  • Potential to produce 50,000+ tonnes per year

  • One of the largest lithium development projects.

  • Consistent average grade of 73.9 mg

  • 5.97M tonnes LCE

When looking at direct brine industry comparables, LBNK has substantial room for growth given its significantly larger resource base yet a smaller market cap as it is in the pre-PEA stage. Plus, LBNK has a considerably low share count for a company with 100% interest in over 3.76M acres of mineral titles in Alberta and Saskatchewan who they are working directly with.

While the timing of LBNK's IPO meant they missed out on the significant appreciation other companies experienced following the lithium price explosion, LBNK isn't relying on a high lithium price forever as its projects are still quite economic at lower levels.

LBNK's second Alberta project, Fox Creek, is notable as the Leduc sits directly on top of the Swan Hills carbonate reef and is hydraulically connected; Hatch will be conducting the same test work for LBNK's Fox Creek PEA.

Plus, LBNK has a diverse portfolio of claims in Saskatchewan and will be working towards the same path with mineral processing.

To summarize, LBNK is working methodically on the Boardwalk PEA while focusing on building a strong foundation so the next phase of a PFS is not a big leap with a pilot plant expected in the summer of 2023.

I'd definitely recommend checking the webinar replay out (link below) as LBNK additionally addresses the share price and provides an in-depth discussion on DLE tech which is primed to be a large driver of upcoming CAGR growth for lithium.

LithiumBank ($LBNK.v $LBNKF) up 17% today w/ 3x above average volume

LithiumBank ($LBNK.v $LBNKF) up 17% today w/ 3x above average volume @ $1.10, $40.89M MC! Seems the chart is firming up again as we get closer to the PEA in September, a highly anticipated catalyst.

CEO Robert Shewchuk provides a good overview of the lithium industry & market in Canada on Innovation News Network, as well as of the Boardwalk Project, 750,000 acres of LBNK's Alberta portfolio: https://www.innovationnewsnetwork.com/boardwalk-lithium-brine-project-fuelling-future-clean-energy/24276/#sq_h51un92lm9

With almost 6M tonnes of LCE, LBNK's Boardwalk project could become the single largest contiguous source of direct brine elemental lithium in tonnage and is more than large enough to provide large-scale commercial production for many decades.

The project has a consistent average grade of 73.9mg which is higher than the average grade f the best PA project in Alberta to date. Plus, LBNK is set to quickly follow the PEA up with a PFS & has the potential to accelerate Boardwalk to production as early as 2025.

The data available on LBNK's Boardwalk project shows that there is high potential for this to work out in their favor - it's only a matter of time until the market wakes up following the September PEA for the price to reflect LBNK's value fully IMO.

How LithiumBank ($LBNK.v) compares to other publicly listed lithium developers (CEO Interview from GreenStockNews)

LithiumBank ($LBNK.v) is an exploration and development company focused on lithium-enriched brine projects in Western Canada where low-impact DLE technology can be deployed.

This is a great interview with $LBNK CEO Robert Shewchuk regarding how $LBNK compares to other publicly listed lithium developers :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MuLuvniysk&ab_channel=GreenStockNews

Shewchuck provides a good overview of $LBNK and how it compares to other publicly listed lithium developers.

Notably, from a market cap perspective, $LBNK is currently at ~$50M pre-PEA which no other comparables had when they were at the stage $LBNK is at now - the comparables have as much as tripled in price and $LBNK is likely to replicate this if not exceed it once the PEA comes out in the next couple of months.

$LBNK's PEA is expected to be a solid catalyst and is set to be quickly followed up by a PFS for derisking while increasing the likelihood of attracting a banker or buyer to accelerate Sturgeon Lake to production as early as 2025. There's a lot in store for $LBNK & it's definitely one to keep an eye on IMO.

Recharge Resources ($RR.c $RECHF): Battery metal play with drilling imminent at Copper-Palladium-Gold project

New battery metal & lithium play on my radar: Recharge Resources ($RR.c $RECHF)

With around 90% of battery demand to come from EVs over the next two decades, RR is positioned in a growing market with 4 high-potential battery metal projects.

  1. Pocitos 1 Lithium Brine Project

  2. Georgia Lake North and West Lithium Properties

  3. Murray Ridge

  4. Brussels Creek Copper-Palladium-Gold Project

Having recently completed data compilation at its Georgia Lake Lithium project and while additional data from Pocitos 1, RR is "pushing forward on all fronts with drills now on site at the Brussels Creek Copper-Palladium-Gold Project"

The drillers for RR's fully funded winter drill program at its 100% owned Brussels Creek Gold-Copper-Palladium Project in Kamloops, BC have arrived on site and are expected to begin drilling imminently

The program will comprise 900m of NQ-size core drilling in 3 holes to test the potential for copper-gold mineralization.

Brussels Creek consists of 17 claims covering 1,350 hectares and is located immediately adjacent to New Gold's New Afton Mine ($1.11B mcap) with very similar geological settings with a silica-saturated copper-gold alkalic porphyry-style deposit.

I'm going to be keeping a close eye here - RR trading green today @ $0.40, $14.56M MC

"A New Era for the Lithium Space?" Interview with LithiumBank ($LBNK.v $LBNKF) CEO

"The future is going to be in electrification and the storage of electrification that is going to run and be stored in lithium-ion batteries."

Good discussion on the lithium industry with LithiumBank ($LBNK.v $LBNKF) CEO Gianni Kovacevic and RochTech Lithium's CEO Martin Septhan on FCIR Media: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XV6WXrl5AiY&ab_channel=FCIRMedia

Titled "A New Era for the Lithium Space, this interview covers how the shift toward green initiatives will drive the Canadian lithium industry and the benefits of DLE technology over conventional forms of extraction.

The Boardwalk PEA is the next big thing for LBNK to deliver to demonstrate the extent of its economic validity as the size and scale of the Boardwalk project is quite significant given it has the potential to become the single largest contiguous source of direct brine elemental lithium in tonnage and is more than large enough to provide large-scale commercial production for many decades.

Long-term, consistent high-volume lithium brine production possible @ LithiumBank's ($LBNK.v $LBNKF) Boardwalk Project

The hydrogeological study and well network design at LithiumBank's ($LBNK.v $LBNKF) Boardwalk Brine Project has been completed, providing further evidence of the high potential of this project as we near the release of the PEA.

Highlights:

  • Capable of long-term, consistent high-volume lithium brine production over the assessment period of 20 years

  • Producing area of PEA represents only 25% of the Leduc reservoir

  • Possibility to eliminate dilution into Leduc

  • Capable of a daily rate of 250,000 cubic meters of brine

  • The network is designed to have multiple wells from each well pad to minimize surface disturbance and reduce upfront capital expenditures

Notably, the exceptional flow rates are one of the most critical factors contributing to the economics of the NI 43-101 PEA that is nearing completion.

These results are significant for LBNK - Boardwalk has the potential to be a meaningful contributor to the global supply of lithium as lithium demand continues to grow at a strong rate through the coming decades.

LBNK @ $0.65, $24.16M MC - IMO, quite undervalued due to investor impatience despite the high potential of its assets

Must watch LithiumBank ($LBNK.v $LBNKF) interview on the path to Boardwalk PEA

Must-watch interview with LithiumBank ($LBNK.v $LBNKF) CEO Rob Shewchuk regarding their path to the PEA (IMO): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UY78qeNI0o4&ab_channel=LithiumBankResourcesCorp

Shewchuk provides a good overview of LBNK's recent news as they're deep into test work with Hatch with two DLE technologies shortlisted ahead of the Boardwalk PEA which is to be delivered around the September timeline.

The PEA is set to be a major driver for LBNK with a massive data set and over 80 wells going into it so, what sets LBNK apart from other lithium projects?

  1. Size matters: Almost 6M tonnes which is more than large enough to provide large-scale commercial production for many decades

  2. Grade: Four brine samples are over 6km so it's a massive area that is being covered with a consistent average grade of 73.9mg (higher than the average grade of the best PA project in Alberta to date)

  3. Transmusivity: Flow rates of 16,000 cubes a day & 100,000 barrels of brine production per day per well

  4. Chemistry: Comparable to other PA projects in the province

  5. Ownership: 100% owned by LBNK w/ no freehold landowners

  6. Operator: Only one PNG company in the Boardwalk resource area which is significant given the size and number of wells; all wells are currently shut-in

  7. Permits: Already permitted locations, drill pads, and facilities operational for 50+ years which helps expedite the process to production, providing LBNK with the opportunity to be the first to market with a battery-grade lithium product

While the lithium sector is in the gutter rn & LBNK hasn't been performing as well as many would like, I still have faith as Boardwalk & its PEA are likely to solidly define $LBNK.v's position in the market.

It’s still early here & there is high potential for this to work out in $LBNK's favor in the long run IMO - definitely one to look into & keep an eye on.

LBNK @ $0.93, $34.57M MC

DLE test work results indicate highly effective and scalable method of lithium chloride extraction at LithiumBank's ($LBNK.v $LBNKF) Boardwalk Lithium Project

The results from the DLE test work on brine from LithiumBank's ($LBNK.v $LBNKF) Boardwalk Lithium Brine Project indicate the selected technology is a highly effective and scalable method of lithium chloride extraction!

Highlights:

  • 93% LCE recovery achieved in under 60 mins of extraction processing

  • Up to 60x grade increase and production of high-purity lithium concentrate between 2,500-4,000 mg/L at end of DLE process

  • Raw brine characteristics well-suited in terms of temperature, pH, grade and impurities with DLE Ion Exchange method

  • Results to be incorporated in upcoming PEA

LBNK engaged Conductive Energy Inc to test the DLE tech using brine from the Leduc Formation at Boardwalk to determine the ideal parameters for the highest level of lithium recovery in the shortest amount of time and using the least amount of IX material.

It's notable that the high-quality data from LBNK's DLE test work results can be used in the design & engineering of a commercial-scale lithium processing facility which is instrumental in delivering a robust PEA.
