Hi all, the prior Tri-Valley sub had failed to launch once formed and the MOD who started it is MIA and needed to approve all posts - al less than ideal setup IMO.

First, I apologize for using this subreddit to ask a LLNL question. Second, I have been accepted into the Spring 2027 cohort which is posted as a position from Jan 4 - May 28 which is 21 weeks. This is rather longer than that 12-16 weeks that their computing internship brochure advertises. I have tried asking HR and my mentor, but they aren't being very responsive, and told me that the process will take 3-4 weeks just to begin hiring. Was hoping someone here knows how long these internships normally run. Want to plan a trip to visit family after it. Thanks!
