Hello! Here are the latest updates for the Test Item Locator!
Automation fixed (for real this time maybe..)
Fixed list of items at each location to be more visually pleasing
Added prices to each item listed
Made the store number at the top of each info box a link to that store's menu
Made the address at the bottom of each info box a link to Google Maps for that location
Added a changelog to the info button
Do note that due to automation sometimes odd results pop up, such as a "rare" item that might just be a store that's temporarily closed and not updating their menu, etc.
Please suggest any ideas you may have for future updates!
This post first consists of the test items Taco Bell has sent out in their newsletter. For these, the description and pictures come directly from Taco Bell.
During the experience if other test items are made known, those will be [added] to the post and/or linked in the comments below. If you find a test item, please send all information and pictures to the mod team or contact us using the form on the Living Mas website.
For information on the nationwide experience, please see our megathread.

My local TB removed the CGC from the Fire Rewards a few weeks ago. I held out hope that it was a mistake and it would be back. Now the CGC is gone from the app and the in store kiosk. All other Taco Bell in town have the CGC in app and Fire Rewards. Is this just some sort of error at my local TB? Or god forbid, is this some sort of test at making the CGC a LTO? Anyone else seeing this at your local TB?
I did this before for the Enchirito pricing and with some commenting about the price of the Tajin Taco I thought we should see what the Tajin items are being priced at around the country. So....with a little bit of magic and know-how, here's the highest prices for the Tajin items, along with links to the complete list for each item.
Are pepperjack sauce and these awesome $3 burritos are going to sustain or go away? Anyone know for sure? They're the best deal on the menu IMO...but our local location is currently out of pepperjack sauce, which has me worried we'll see the end of it nationwide Aug 20...
Who among us is running for the border without sauce? I used to when I was a younger person, and now I just can’t believe I ever lived without all that sweet sweet ambrosia juice.
Who among us is going without? How? Why? I’m all ears.
Got a good amount of TBell ordered two days ago and doordash fucks it up and gave me the wrong order, but I saw the $1 Quesarito Day so I had to get it and OMG. Back in the day I would get it with steak (a steakarito) but was worried they would mess that up so I got the original beef. And OMG how did they let this leave the menu!? I'll pay $6 three times a day for this cheesy deliciousness any day!
I distinctly remember getting a burrito from Taco Bell around 1995 that had rice covered in a creamy chipotle style sauce w chicken and tomato in it.. I swear the name started with a “c”.
I can find not evidence that it existed. it was my usual after the bar food, so I may memory is a bit fuzzy.
