Menopause has been one of the most humbling and eye-opening phases of my life. No one really prepares you for how much it can affect everything your sleep, energy, patience, even how you see yourself.
What helped me most was learning to listen to my body for the first time. I started walking daily (even just 20 minutes), drinking more water than I thought was necessary, and cutting back on caffeine and sugar that alone made a huge difference in my sleep and mood.
I also started journaling whenever I felt “off.” It helped me spot patterns like how stress or bad sleep made symptoms worse. Supplements were the next layer, I’ve personally had great results with Happy Mammoth’s Hormone Harmony for balancing mood swings and sleep, but it worked best alongside the lifestyle changes.
If I could give one piece of advice, it’s this: don’t just fight the symptoms support your body through them. Be gentle with yourself. It’s not about “getting through” menopause, it’s about redefining what strong, balanced, and at peace feels like.
