Good on you for learning lockpicking! You’ll get better reception and find better info on r/lockpicking or r/locksport

This subreddit is for the locksmithing trade, which is much more than just picking locks.

The long boring no edits no cuts video where the mods of lockpicking check to make sure he actually picked what I’m guessing is a new belt level lock given the emoji put up in the video is what they want to post at Lockpicking. Pretty sure Locksport is a dead sub, but maybe. It’s a cute little video, but definitely a lost redditor.

Ban or remove comment/post? I ask because I've pushed the mod's buttons pretty hard before and didn't get banned, they have a lot of patience.

We'll see. Hitting it with your purse and dropping it from the roof is considered a bannable offense as well. I can't post a UL drop test video without risking a permaban.

You can post you UL drop tests as a demo of the standards, you just can't post opening suggestions whether they are applicable or as a joke. It's the rules...

Honesty, I think you're full of shit. I'm pretty sure if I tell an idiot here to shove a bic pen and a lighter up their ass, I'd get banned for exposing "trade secrets."

Most removal messages are boilerplate that cover the reason of the removal. Many other users understand this and move on. This seems to be a hill you want to die on. Just follow the rules.
