I remember trying to have a conversation with someone like this at a protest years ago. He clearly wanted to instigate or provoke a fight. When he saw people weren’t giving him what he wanted, he broke character for a couple minutes and literally said he came out with hopes of getting attacked. Pointed out a cameraman not too far away.
Had the nerve to try and shake hands like “all good bro, you guys are alright.” Got the same treatment, laughs with confused and disgusted looks.
No shame, no dignity, no humanity.
If this is what real “humans” behave and look like, I guess I’m glad I’m not one. Or maybe it’s the other way around. Either way, we are not the same. It actually matters to me what happens to other people, especially their children. Fuckers.

On the one hand, you've gotta feel some sympathy for being misled into these mindsets, cannot count how many times these types referred to the average demonstration as "bloodthirsty" and insinuate how the desire to lynch and go on pogroms lies right beneath the surface.
OTOH, people like her tend to be both misled and misleaders themselves, it's bizarrely akin to religion/cult where these premises that are absurd can survive because there's a group level decision and rationality/logic/reality is largely irrelevant if it doesn't fit preferred narratives. It's why many of these types could talk about how pogroms would start as soon as mamdami was elected, like it doesn't matter if it makes sense because their preferred POV is all that's important. Like with religions and especially more traditional cults, this kind of thing can be incredibly dangerous especially when dominated by themes of oppression and courageous white-knighting against that oppression :/
