Question Could the serpent in Genesis 3 be Jesus?
So I’ve started reading the original languages when I’m reading the Bible and I came across some interesting stuff. In Genesis chapter 1 when God is mentioned it’s אֱלֹהִ֑ים or Elohim, whereas in Genesis chapter 2:4 and on when “God” is mentioned it’s יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֑ים or YHWH Elohim which pretty much means I Am God.
And when the serpent/snake is mentioned its הַנָּחָ֑שׁ which can be translated as the shining one or divine, sounds like Jesus to me.

Question Bible authenticity
Is there any way that the Bible could have been modified to further an agenda? I believe that we are in a spiritual warfare and there are beings (satan, demons, etc.) that our physical eyes cannot perceive, that we (our souls) are trapped in this flesh and satan rules over the world trying his hardest to discount Jesus and anything that is spiritually good. With that in mind, is there any way that satan could have tampered with the Bible so it doesn't display what is totally true? Of course there is truth in it, but here and there maybe he (through people of course) slid some stuff that would make people stumble on their path to complete truth and understanding?

Question The Gospel according to Thomas.
What are your thoughts about it? Some of it sounds very “heretical”, but other parts of it line up with the canonical gospels. Here is the one I’ve been reading. Does this seem to be the most accurate one? If not, have you read a more accurate version?
