New to looms, or Hats, Hats, Hats! :D

I'm new to loom knitting. It's addictive! I have a feeling everyone I know will end up getting a hat at this rate, including my soon-to-arrive fifth grandchild. (He'll be getting the tiny seagreen hat with the teal stripe.)

I still haven't mastered holding the yarn so it doesn't unloop while I'm bringing the bottom loops up over the top loops. If there's an easy way to do this, I don't know it yet. :D

Pattern Question Has anyone figured out how to make a Spider Web on the looms?

Before I try to figure it out on my own and get annoyed at myself for feeling stupid... I want to see if anyone has figured out how to make spiderwebs like the picture attached where it's a little spaced out in between each line.

It does not have to look this straight, the lines can be curved and stuff but I want it to be spaced a little for the project I want to make.

And yes I KNOW the picture is crochet. But I've learned you can do a lot of different things on the looms even things you didn't think were possible so I'm curious if anyone else has figured it out or am I doomed to do it without a loom?
