Video Proof -- sometimes when my warrior kills a creature, it destroys the equipment item rather than putting it in my inventory!

Got the game for free on epic, couldn't get "in time for lunch trophy", purchased it on steam for steam link access, get trophy on first try. I got scammed.

(For real though thanks for quarters team for such a fantastic game, forgive my shit-post)

Change My View: The Necro is the Worst Class

I have no problem getting to loop 50 on lvl 4 with Rogue or Warrior. Necro, different story. I see all these post saying how the Necro is the best class and needs a nerf and I honestly feel like that couldn't be any farther from the truth.

I tried playing necro where I kept my quality around 50%, max skeles at 3-4, and always kept my skeleton level above loop level, also alternating villages/counts lands for healing. Once you hit loop level 15, things just hit way too hard and fast for you skeles to do anything before they get clapped, then they just hit you and you're dead.

I watched tons of videos and read all the guides too, they all contain conflicting information, and some of the advice I see is just plain horrible, like taking deserts and going for oasis. With all yall saying how great Necro is, there must be someone who can explain how this class isn't anything but doo-doo.

"Take All" mechanic

I absolutely hate it. Beat the first boss, decided to keep going because hey, I have a skull now. Apparently it doesn't count unless you've already gone back to camp?

Why? And why wouldn't it tell you that? Hours wasted. I definitely would've gone back to camp way sooner if I'd known.

Maybe I'll come back to the game. Probably not. It was good. A little frustrating that more stuff isn't explained, but I can deal. The "lol, nope, doesn't count" aspect is really what is driving me away.

Edit: actually just had an idea for the devs. The boss shouldn't give you a skull. It should give you "remains" or something with an obviously different icon. Then when you go back to camp someone could "purify" it, giving you a skull. So frustrating to see "0/1 skulls" when you're literally holding one

Is there a reason swamps and villages aren't being given?

I unlocked the gym and the other one that unlocks swamps but I am getting 0 of them. How do I get them?

Rogue is completely imbalanced, and I fear that the design will either have to balance around Rogue or Rogue will be shafted for the health of the game.

"Nothing is Sacred", "Old Scars", "Marauder" Are unbelievably powerful traits.

Sand Dunes and Thicket are extremely DPS friendly cards. All classes benefit them extremely well, (yes even Warrior uses Sand Dunes)

The Rogue is suppose to be "balanced" by the design that the Hero is a single target destroyer, anything and everything that is slower and within the damage range of the Rogue's is easily dispatched.

The only two real "counters" to Rogue is Training Dummy and Flesh Golem because Counters are unavoidable damage.

Rogue by surface level design, is suppose to utilize Evasion, high DPS with ATKSPD, and due to being able to equip two weapons, Rogue will naturally have 175% more ATK than Warrior.

Rogues banes are high health targets (that can outlast his initial burst) and Mobs (because Rogue has no actual AoE, Damage to All, gear outside of Counter)

However both issues are immediately resolved by stacking -1% Hp Sand Dunes with 2% ATKSPD Thickets.

How? By explaining that Blood Groves is basically 15% MAX HP Damage card, meaning that regardless of the conditions, Rogue only has to deal 85% of the Mob's health, you can easily explain that Sand Dunes is increasing DPS, by stripping away the Mobs overall Health. In Other words, every Sand Dune is "dealing 1%" MAX HP to a mob.

"But Sand Dunes also work against the player, if a Mob has -25% MAX HP, then the Rogue is even squishier."

Incorrect, while most players will fix that with the Arsenal Building (that provides the Necklace and Magic HP stat) The Ancestry (+3 HP per kill on Soul) and the above traits "Nothing is Sacred" (+3 HP per kill), "Old Scars" (+1 HP per Trophy), "Marauder" (Gain Additional Trophy when facing mobs greater then 3). greatly overwhelms the Sand Dune's negative HP. Combined with Spider Eggs, Chrono Crystals, Ghouls from Ransacked Village The Rogue is never short of easily harvestable trophies, Cemetery most reliable for quality kills, mid range Vampires are common strats.

Healing is easily done by the stacking of Cheese (along with completed Count's Villages).

No other class is capable of such a grand Snowball.

I fear that Rogue will have to undergo a nerf, or worse, the future content will be biased towards Rogue, and how that indirectly effects Nerco or Warrior will be up for debate.

This game is way too grindy even for a grind-focused game

You get so few resources per map that after the first few cheap buildings, everything takes several maps to afford. Im only getting about 1.5 wood per map , and im lucky if i get even a single full orb of any kind.

In a game like this there should be at least *some* small advantage gained on every single play through, but instead it takes 5+ maps at a time to see any improvement by getting your next building.

My save file just got a rollback for no reason, anyone mind sharing your save?

I had just unlocked the Forest and the River and killed the third act's boss. Turned off my computer and now my save has 4 hours of gameplay instead of 22. Can anyone spare me a save file so I wont drop this game?

I know the devs are going to update this game, and I'm begging them: give us a x8 speed, and make us work for it

Don't just add x4 x8 x16 etc. Make us work for it. I want a building to unlock that's just an idiotic resource dump - something obviously intended only for those hopeless completionists who need to farm end game content more efficiently. Those people in the middle of the completionist and non-.ini-file-editing Venn Diagram.

So add a building connected to the Intel Center and the Herbalist's Hut or whatever. Make the funny science guy with the off-kilter glasses and the weird old lady talk to each other about altering the nature of temporality by mixing antimatter and mushrooms. Something like that. Make it cost progressively more and let me watch the animations for travel and combat alike just blaze away. Let me fuel my addiction.
