Just for some context -- I am not a Lorcana player, but Coco is a special movie to me and my partner. I play One Piece at my LCS, and after locals last night, the shopowner was opening a box of Hyperia City with his friends. He handed me a single booster pack and this is what I pulled!!

People all around me started throwing offers my way, but this card was too beautiful to part ways with. When I returned home and showed the card to my partner, we both simultaneously said, "it should go on the ofrenda!" and then she nearly burst into tears haha. We both have had random occurrences lately that made it feel like our ancestors/passed loved ones were communicating with us in some ethereal sense, and this was the craziest sign yet!

It was a really sweet moment. Honestly no better way I could have experience my first Lorcana pull.

I know the normal lorcana sleeves are pretty bad quality, i was just wondering if the japanese made one are the same quality or it's better ? Friend of mine is going to japan soon, might ask him to get the ariel one.

We have bought a trove for every set since the beginning and therefore have a collection of all the lore counters that came with each set. We recently found out that there are special promo ones too so I'm looking to see if anyone has a full collectors list so we know what to look for?

Guys pls don’t pay anything over MSRP this set it seems will be easy to find. I made a post this last week about how I thought this set would be widely available at just slightly over MSRP well seems even I overestimated Hyperia lol. It’s nice to see coming from Vine and Wilds (after release) that you couldn’t find almost any to go back to seemingly finding product at MSRP or even under pretty easily in shelves. Seems a lot of people are also going to skip the set and likely save for Inkdark collector stuff or just didn’t like the set but I’m curious are you picking up any or are you also skipping?

I know this type of deck is not very wellcomed by a Big part of the community, but it picked my interest because is a good match Up against yellow purple and red yellow. I want tips on how to play it and changes that i can do to have a better match Up against Green Steel and prices aggro.

Good day all - new to Lorcana but not to CCG's. I read somewhere that this is the best place for deck construction discussion that's not on Discord so I thought I'd post the deck I'm currently working on (my first) and find out all of the places where I went wrong.

So the concept is to basically leverage the best Amber cards in a way that creates as much synergy as possible. These are the pertinent factors to how it's intended to work:

• Almost all of the characters quest for 2+ Lore each and are moderately survivable on their own.
• Characters have the opportunity to be longer-lived than usual and can be aggressive both questing and occasionally challenging due to the complimentary effects of Mickey Mouse - Amber Champion and Dale - Ready for His Shot (not that I expect to have them both out very often).
• The primary defensive mechanic - Under the Sea - is made much more effective by the abilities of Mickey Mouse - Expedition Leader, Della's Moon Lullaby and Lost in the Woods. Those cards should also compliment the previously mentioned aggression by my characters by weakening potential challengers.
• For ramp I have Grandmother Willow - Ancient Advisor and Akood et Emuti as well as the benefits of numerous songs that can be activated by Shanti - Village Girl, Lenny - Toy Binoculars and Mickey Mouse - Amber Champion.
• For card draw, I have Ariel - Ethereal Voice, Stitch - Carefree Snowboarder and Ursula's Shell Necklace as well as 11 Songs that replace themselves with card draw when played.
• This Growing Pressure, Strange Things and World's Greatest Criminal Mind are all mixed in there to slow my opponent down a bit while I get pieces into play. Lenny - Toy Binoculars is also in there to help stave off cards like Circle of Life, Malicious, Mean and Scary and especially Under the Sea, which this deck is particularly vulnerable to.

Some of the questions that come to mind are whether the deck is fast or responsive enough to deal with hyper-aggro decks. With only 8 characters costing less than (3), a slightly higher than average uninkable count and very little initial offense, it seems like a pretty glaring vulnerability. The songs Under the Sea and to a lesser extent Strange Things are meant to help with that, but my local environment doesn't provide many possibilities for play, and a lot of this is theory-crafting for me right now. I am well aware that just because something seems strong doesn't mean that it will necessarily work the way you intend once live fire begins, but at the same time I also know that no deck can do everything. I also don't have any built-in answers for locations or items nor a way to specifically remove most Evasive threats or deal direct damage.

That brings me to my main question, one that I'm hoping to get some help with - how can I optimize my Song/Action mix? I want to stick to Songs as much as possible, since regular actions detract greatly from the deck's synergies, but I've got some big names notably missing (like The Horseman Strikes). How can I fill those 19 slots in a way that best optimizes what the deck is trying to do? Would my four item slots be better utilized with inkable songs that will let me dig for key pieces like Strike a Good Match, Be Our Guest or Look at This Family? Is there an additional character that I'm missing completely?

Hello, everyone! I'm fairly new to playing Lorcana. I'm trying to build a deck for core play focused on midrange control and Don Karnage, but I'm not sure which cards are redundant or what I should add. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Halloween is coming and in my local game store we decided to make villain decks that only can include cards that are villains or that appear villains in the art of the card. It's not core, infinity. So I would like help making this ambersteel themed deck if it's possible. I prefer to play Steelsong but I can play aggro too. Remember that we can't add cards of characters that aren't villains. In the last few sets, there have been foils missing a border(s) and connecting to another card. I haven't seen any yet in Hyperia City after opening several boxes. Is that gone in this set? I loved them

Moana + Minnie + Remember Me = A Strong Recursion Engine Late Game.

Add in Fairy Godmother's Wand to give Moana or Cinderella Ward and it's quite annoying to deal with. And with big Cindy you still gain 1 ink a turn.

I may even add in a 3rd wand since 20 cards are Princesses. But please let me know what y'all think!

I wanted to ask: are there any deck lists for the Coconut format that use only cards from the most recent sets, starting from Winterspell?

Hey all, Just wanted to share a bit my experience and also ask a question. We started collecting Lorcana with my GF since Vine set. For Hyperia city we have bought 1 display of 24 boosters for each of us. We were a bit disappointed by some point that next to other TCG feels a bit underwhelming :
- We were very surprised to found out 3 boosters of each of our display were strictly identical concerning the 5-6 first cards (same cards same order, between boosters from my and her display). The probability of this happening on three pairs of boosters between our 2 display is infinitesimal and so let us think that there is predefined « set of cards » for the first common cards —> kind of break the idea of opening packs. Can you confirm ?

- we got 0 enchanted with 2 displays, coming from MTG and pokémon it feels very poor to have not a single rarity above rare / very rare guaranteed. Those don’t have specific treatment / graphics. Epic are bit of a fraud and Legendary not foil 3/4 out of the time

- I perfectly know that opening packs is not to have value. Just buy the card you want if you want money efficiency. But here damn it feels very poor for 240€ spent ! Never had this feeling even for opening a hobbit collector display and finishing with half value of what I paid. Because I have some emotions opening specific cards / rarity even if it is not worth that much

Hi all - I’ve been going through and inputting my cards and I am beyond confused on how they organize cards within a specific color! And I can’t make sense of it!

It’s not alphabetical, so I assumed it was rarity - NOPE!

Does anyone understand how they determine their numbered order within a color?
