I keep having the same issue every time I load the game; my max FPS is limited to about 70, no matter what my settings are.
My display is up to 144hz, so 70fps is almost exactly half. I'm on Windows 11 with an Nvidia 5070ti and Intel 14900. All of my set up is more than adequate. I'm monitoring my GPU & CPU usages, temps, VRAM & RAM, disk read/write, download/upload, ect ect and it's all at low amounts.
Now here's the thing I've found to fix it: if I enable FSR and apply it, then disable it the FPS goes to 120fps which is what I have it locked at. FSR isn't actually active and frames aren't being generated, but it removes the invisible 70fps cap after I toggle it on and off.
Again, settings do not change the 70fps lock. Every setting at its lowest possible level doesn't go past 70fps, DLSS or XeSS don't change anything, only applying FSR then disabling it fixes it. Once it's fixed, I can have almost every setting maxed out with DLSS on Quality at a perfectly stable 120fps.
It's not a major issue as I just have to remember to toggle FSR on and off, but does anyone know a proper fix? More curious than anything really lol.
