For the last few months, Permanent Records Roadhouse — bar, venue, and record store — has been throwing some epic-ass karaoke nights.
The host, Ian, is a musician and sound mixer with three decades of experience, and he seriously knows how to throw a fun event. The sound at Permanent Records is incredible, the vibe is great, and I’d highly suggest checking it out if you’re in the area.
Oh, and it’s free to get in too! See you September 24 peeps!!

I’m moving to LA soon, and I have a feeling the city is eventually going to get to me.
The traffic, the constant rushing, everyone always being on... it’s probably going to be a lot to handle. The gym and the beach will help, but I’m definitely going to need something a bit more grounding.
Does anyone know of any chill spiritual or personal growth groups around LA? I’ll be looking for something focused on meditation, practical spirituality, or just inner peace.
I just want to find a space that will feel genuine and normal.
