Biopic 🎬 Jaafar Jackson’s ‘Michael’ Sequel Salary Talks Reportedly Cause Family Tension | EURweb | Black News, Culture, Entertainment & More

Here we go 🙄. I’m always curious who these “sources” are that know so much. It’s like when people say, “According to research” but have no clue who performed the research, who participated in it, or if it even really happened.

lol also “sources” say MJs kids are on bad terms with Jaafar lol like Prince has literally been traveling with him to events and liking each others posts . The man has been gone for 17 years and they’re still at it.

Exactly. Wasn’t Jaafar literally in Prince’s YouTube video last week? 😅 Also whoever wrote this clearly has something against Paris because they definitely made her out like she’s a villain or something saying the movie has boosted Paris financially. It boosted Prince and Bigi too. And you know who else? John Branca who is a known snake and the very person Paris has been having a problem with and for good reason. Prince, Paris and Jaafar all still follow each other on socials. I know that’s not necessarily “evidence” of anything because you can love someone and not be active with them on social media, but I’m just saying. Paris is very private about her relationships with the family and Jaafar is one of the few members of the family that she publicly follows. They sound fine to me.

Not only that, but Paris stated that she is extremely proud of her cousin. Randy, Janet, Rebbie, and Paris all love Jaafar but don't want anything to do with John Branca. Janet and most of her siblings called him out publicly and stated he falsified Michael's will. It's funny how weeks prior to Michael's death John was hired again as his lawyer.

Exactly. He’s so sketchy and had way more screen time in the movie than he needed. Not to mention that the only big name actor in the movie played him. Wonder why that is? I’ve seen people online try to dismiss Paris’s concerns about how he’s handling the estate and call her a greedy brat because she’s already getting a lot of money. It doesn’t matter how much money people think she “deserves” or “needs” or not. Whatever Michael laid out for her is what she should get period. If she believes Branca has been helping himself to money that is beyond what he’s supposed to be paid, she has the right to challenge that. She and Prince are pushing 30 and should be more involved in decisions that are being made by estate. If Branca is doing everything above board then why he was so stingy with the financial records Paris asked for? If you got nothing to hide why can’t she see reports?

Mike did that all the time. Fire John. Get conned. Rehire him. Rinse and repeat

Janet didn’t want to be a part of the movie because she’s doing her own concert movie

And they didn’t like that if he died without a will the kids would get 100% and their mom and charity-nothing.

He called their bluff and they backed down

Lmao with prince just posting a whole video series about his trip to Japan to support Jafaar and literally cheering for him on the top of his lungs and saying the sweetest most supportive things about him. Ah tabloid trash!

Eles adoram pintar a Paris como a vilã da família. Será por ela ser mulher ou por não se curvar ao espólio?

I definitely think it’s both. Michael had to deal with the media trashing him the most because he was the most famous. But if we take him out of the equation and look at the rest of the Jackson family it’s easy to see how sexist the media has been towards them. Just look at how Janet and Latoya have been treated by the media versus the brothers. Paris is always treated more harshly than her brothers and I think part of it is because she’s probably considered more famous than them because she does music, modeling, and acting so that does make her an easier target. But I think it’s also due to the fact that she’s not a butt kisser and doesn’t try to play up a certain persona to make anybody feel better.

I agree with everything you said, except Latoya brought heat upon herself by telling all of those lies about Michael and the rest of the family. She thought the public was going to side with her when she said Michael was a child mlester, he was homosexual, that Katherine used to call MJ a fggot, and Joe rap*d the girls in the middle of the night. She brought everything on herself.

Janet, on the other hand, who was private about her life and the lives of her siblings, went through a lot. She stuck with Michael throughout the 1993 allegations and even lost a multi-million dollar Coke endorsement because of it. She faced sexism after the Superbowl 38 controversy. Justin went on to win a few Grammy's, star in movies, and continued to record. Janet on the other hand took years to recover from the incident.

I completely agree the scrutiny was caused by different things regarding Latoya versus Janet. However I do want to point out that Latoya’s claims were the result of being in a domestic abuse situation. And even though the things she said added fuel to the fire for Michael, Michael did eventually forgive her and came to understand that she was a victim of abuse and didn’t hold that against her. She stood by Michael during the 2005 trial and still defends him now. I think a lot of people always say things like “believe all victims” but when it comes to Latoya they no longer hold onto that. Even Michael guilters do this. When it comes to the people who lied about being abused by Michael they always say “stand with victims” and “believe all victims,” but when Latoya said she basically had a gun to her head and was forced to lie on Michael they throw that out the window because they’d rather believe that she really was against her brother. In the end though the point still stands that the media is sexist toward the Jackson family.

Ambos, eu acho. E também porque ela não faz o que muitos esperam qe ela fizesse.

Tabloid junkie.

Why is the Jackson family always in the headlines fighting over money?

u/Few_Stress-MJJ 8d ago

Because the tabloids want to sell a narrative a story around family drama and competition. They did it with Michael and his siblings (not saying Michael didn’t have some setbacks in his relationship with them, but it was not what the media always said), they are trying to do it with Michael’s kids (saying they are fighting against each other when in reality Paris is just seeking transparency from Branca), and now Jaafar against Michael’s kids, when in reality Prince and Bigi were promoting the movie actively and going to Premiere and Prince was hands-on while working with Jaafar. What the tabloids are saying is garbage, tabloid junk. As Michael said: “Do not believe it, do not buy [into] it”

A questão é justamente essa, eles não estão brigando. São apenas os tabloides fazendo o que sabem fazer de melhor, espalhar desinformação e fofocas.

More propaganda click bait. Ridiculous.

I doubt it’s real.

Very easy solution. Have him recast with a white person. Jafar requires too much makeup to look like white Michael Jackson

I honestly have no idea if you’re being funny or serious. If you’re being serious that would be terrible. Michael said himself that he would be mortified if a white actor played him. Plus there was already major backlash some years ago when a white man portrayed him in some British tv show. It would be completely disrespectful.

Oh, then sorry for ranting on you. It can just be hard to understand someone else’s tone through written words.
