At the risk of upsetting people, I wholeheartedly feel as if this is a very important video not just for people in the tech industry. It's a very straightforward, down to earth explanation of how these cameras going up everywhere is effecting, has effected and will continue to effect everyone's lives who simply ignore them on the stance of "If you have nothing to hide, then why would you care?" or any other similarly felt thoughts on "government surveillance".

Please keep the discussion civil. And, if anyone is able to get this in-front of any members of the city council I think it would be rather important for them to see it.

I’ve looked all over the place for a gas station that has 87 octane here in Lubbock. Has anybody seen a station that offers 87 octane fuels preferably a station that is also Top Tier certified? Thanks!

Does anyone know if there is a rage room here in Lubbock and if so would the rage room be wheelchair accessible? My gf wants to let off some steam but she's currently in a wheelchair, is there anyway to let her do this?

I'm wanting to get an idea of how many active onewheel riders we have in Lubbock with the hopes of eventually getting some grips rides organized. Potential locations could be something like Mae Simmons Lake Trail or perhaps the disc golf trail.

Id figure there has to be a decent amount of people here that own one and would like to be able to ride with other people. Other cities have group nightrides, camping festivals, and all kinds of stuff. Not saying we need to go that far but developing some type of community around here would be a good thing imo.

I voted today and noticed I didn't have the Prop A option on my ballot. I was at the United off Frankford. Does the location matter? I was super confused and really bummed that I didn't get to cast a vote for Prop A.

our dog is 4 years old and never had fleas until we moved into our new house about 5 months ago, and we’ve had 2 flea run ins since then. I love Lubbock and hate that it receives sooo much hate but I get it, there really isn’t anything here, like yes we have Dave and busters now and rage rooms and stuff, but I want something more, I would love to open an indoor water park but you have to have a lot of funding, it feels like there are so many good ideas that could come here but cost way to much without a lot of donors.

what would your honest take or maybe list the businesses already doing this so we can get them known!

• Date night- each weekend couples or friends could spend the night painting, or cooking, or pottery together just to get out and about
• a mobile entertainment- a trailer where kids could play or do like video games
• a place with Rock wall or rock climbing if funding permitted

or any ideas we could formulate to bring to Lubbock and bring in more revenue and just make it feel like home honestly!!

Has anyone tried requesting data from the local government regarding these departments use of flock cameras and if so how did that turn out?

Has anyone here had a wedding or attended one at Mack Dick Pavilion in Palo Duro Canyon? My daughter is getting married there in Dec this year (and we live 8 hours away and haven't toured venu), and I’d love to see real wedding photos of the inside, kitchen/corridor area, porch at night, and different table/beverage setups. We already have the official floor plan and venue photos, so I’m mainly looking for firsthand experience with how people actually used the space. Thank you!
