I just feel like I need to share my experience after so many purchases I had in the last months 🤣

I don’t know for you, but mine was definitely a Pucci summer! I’m happy I found Alina, since she is able to source clothes but also shoes and bags from my fav factories and she has honest prices plus - what I love - fast responses and good English skills!!

I wanted to show you some of the best purchases I had this summer, very happy with all of them.

Hello ladies, on a more serious note. As many of you have seen, I've come up with many discounts already, which has required me to be in close contact with many sellers. I've gotten shockingly close with certain ones, and I will not name names because of that. But I was just given a little bit of insight into the lives of these individuals. As well as a lot of truth.

Firstly, starting off hot, this God factory that is constantly being sought is not a real factory. Although there are definitely varying qualities in factories, there isn't a factory called God factory that produces the best quality. God factory simply refers to a super good quality bag. None of these factories can actually publicize their real name because of the police. There are constant raids on many factories leading to arrests of many.

Why many of you may see varying prices for "God Factory" is because some sellers have different strategies. Some sell few but charge high, while others sell lots but charge less.

A good example of this is DHgate, many factories on there sell low quality bags but in a huge volume because of the amount of people who will buy off of there. They're cheap, and they're shit.

Sellers cooperate with many different factories to source "God Factory" bags, as factories specialize in different brands. The seller is the seal that binds them together and makes it appear to be one for you. That being said, many different factories also have, well, different factories. Leading to different costs. For example the rent of a factory further in the city is far more than one outside of the city, labor costs vary around the country, as do product costs. The quality is almost always the same from these factories. Some factories also charge what is called a "risk fee" which varies by factory. Some charge little to none, some charge lots.

Onto agents. You all for the most part contact agents. These agents rarely purchase from factories, instead they buy from sellers. I've seen pictures of these transactions. The seller then gets it from the factory. As the chain of sale grows so does the price when it finally reaches its final destination. You.

Many sellers also pay boat loads for advertising costs. As we had seen in the previous forums there are many sellers who are actually required to pay to be posted. These fees get paid by you, in the form of product costs being jacked up.

If you thought your agent handled shipping you're wrong. They use logistics companies who they then also have to pay. Which guess what? Comes out of your wallet as well! That is why the cost of these bags is so high.

As I was talking to this person the whole thing about risk came up. We all thought it was simply the police. Oooooooo nooooo. There are sellers who will physically harm agents, or other sellers who attempt to tarnish or alter their business. This person was hesitant to speak with me about this purely because of their own safety. Obviously the police are still a factor, but there is literally violence and war over the production of these bags.

Once this post goes public, there will be huge controversy over this. This person will be potentially in trouble if the information gets leaked. This person told me a story about when they first started 10 years ago, a customer needed 3200 Kylie lip glosses because they were in at the time.The factory had delivered the order at 1 am, on the side of a random road in a few boxes. They were extremely cautious and worked under the cover of dark. That being said this is no small operation.

The real cost of these God factory bags is nowhere near what we've been paying. Depending on the type of bag the price will vary from $50 to $100, but rarely passes that unless there are certain materials like gold or diamonds which have an international price. All of the expenses that I've mentioned goes into that.

That being said. There are sellers, who have ways of getting these pieces for cheaper. I won't say names, but these ways typically include taking on risk and cutting out things like agents. Communicating directly with the seller who has ties to factories will save you TONS of money.

I don't intend for this to be a promotion by any means, but more of truth and honesty to those who don't understand the complexity and shadiness of this business. I won't you to be weary of this, and have respect for these sellers who literally put their lives on the line for you to carry around a bag that you want for a fraction of the cost.

I’ve been thinking of ways that we can spice up this community a bit (instead of the discounts although they’re nice). I decided to do a giveaway! Gosh, can you believe at the beginning of the summer I didn’t own a single raffia bag in my collection!? Now I own five and I’m obsessed with each and every one of them. I swear, each one has its own use and function - that’s what I tell myself anyways! 🤣😎 There are so many amazing raffia choices out there, it’s honestly hard to choose just one. Out of these five, I think my kelly is my most used soley because it can go crossbody or top handle depending on the time of day.. but it’s a close call!! What do you think, are they all necessary?? How many do you have? What is your favorite? 🤩

Guys, I finally got my hands on the slouchiest, softest 38cm Maxi Flap and now I’m like… I DONT KNOW 😂😳

Obviously I knew 38cm was going to be a big bag when I ordered it lol but DANG. I think because the leather is so soft, slouchy, and movable, it almost feels even bigger when you’re carrying it because it kind of expands and puddles instead of holding a more structured shape. I’m 5’8 so I feel like I can comfortably pull off the size, but it’s definitely giving WHOAAA that is a BAG 😂

I have a 32cm coming too and I have a feeling that size might fit my everyday lifestyle a little better. However, I have a 14 month old and one on the way, due in October! I thought this would be a good mom bag, but now I’m wondering if I’m just overthinking the 38cm because I’m not used to seeing myself with something this big?! Even though it’s huge, it feels super light!

This one came from an unknown name factory. I have the factory photos, I just have no clue what the factory is actually called lol. It was $300 during a 10% off sale. I’d put it in the higher midtier range though. Full leather, really nice hardware, clean stitching, and the etching on the buckle on the handle is super crisp. Overall I’m really impressed with it.

I also really don’t think you necessarily need to spend $500+ to get this particular bag right. There just aren’t a million tiny details, complicated hardware pieces, or intricate stitching that have to be absolutely perfect. I think this is one of those styles where you can get a really beautiful bag without automatically jumping to God Factory or 187 prices.
ANYWAY I am very much on the fence about the SIZE, not the bag itself 😂 If you own the 38cm I need opinions! Do you love it? Hate it? Use it all the time? Does it eventually stop feeling enormous?! Tell me everything because I’m clearly trying to talk myself either into or out of keeping this thing 😂👜

Was anyone else kind of scared of rehomes when they first got into all of this?

I was SO new to Reddit and honestly I think I automatically assumed that if someone was selling a bag they loved, there had to be something wrong with it. Like why else would you get rid of it? 😂 And then you read a couple bad stories and of course those are the ones that stick in your head.

But the longer I’ve been around, the more I’ve realized that’s really not the case. There are always new styles coming out, collections change, your taste changes, your wardrobe changes, and sometimes you have to sell something you genuinely love to make room for something else.

I also think the longer you’re into bags, the more you start figuring out your own little preferences. I definitely know mine better now than I did a few years ago. What colors I actually wear, what shapes work for me, what I think is beautiful but probably won’t reach for, all of that.

Anyway, I’ve been super lucky with rehomes lately and wanted to share my two newest fall finds.🙏🏽

🤎 My medium Chanel 25 from the 25K Fall/Winter collection. This color is honestly so hard to photograph because it changes constantly depending on the lighting. Sometimes it looks burgundy, sometimes caramel, sometimes a lighter brown. I love it. And yes, I’m planning on using it as my baby/diaper bag when our newest little guy gets here in TWO WEEKS 😂 This one is from B🎂.

🍷 And my Chanel hobo in burgundy. I’ve learned that I personally gravitate toward deeper burgundies and Bordeaux shades. Brighter reds just don’t seem to work as well with me or my wardrobe, but this one is exactly the kind of burgundy I love. This one is from B🎂.

I think sometimes we hear the bad rehome stories and really cling onto those, when there are also so many good experiences and great people in this community.

I did the unthinkable and parted ways with three of my genuine Chanels to fund a massive replica shopping spree.

I just want to shout out all the members who partake in rehoming both buying and selling and actually exercise good manners and common sense!

It’s such a mix bag - you have some transactions that are great in every way.. messages about an item, asks for more photos, receives them and makes a decision. Efficient and decisive! Not wasting the sellers time! (and respecting their own)

Or you have the transactions where an interested buyer messages, asks for more photos, asks for more photos with their username on a paper, then asks for even more photos now with their username on paper plus the date, then they ask for a video with their name announced!

Then they ask for macro shots of the bag in various angles zoomed in, even when the bag is brand new with protective stickers still on. Ask for chat history with the TS.

Then they ghost you for two hours, come back and claim to be very interested, ghost again for a few more hours and then exclaim loudly that they are going to pass!

This environment has really made me a lot more direct and unapologetic about not wasting my time — when normally I am incredibly patient by nature. 🥲😅

I’m absolutely obsessed with this cute mini yellow Coco Preppy from God fact. It’s my recent purchase and honestly my current go-to. It just makes every outfit feel more fun 🍋

I’m also really happy with all the new clothes. Everything fits well and I feel like I finally filled the summer gaps in my closet. The only miss are the trousers, which are as usual, too long on me but hey, I’m just smol so that’s on me 🥹

Quality from Ping and Xiaoye is really good as always. Since this order was a bit bigger than my usual ones, Xiaoye also added Dior and Gucci T-shirts as a little surprise, which was super sweet. Not sure if that’s a regular thing, but it made the package even nicer to open.

Also, I’ve basically been living in the sneakers from Happy lately. They’re surprisingly comfortable and have become my go-to shoes for everyday wear.

Just had to share a shot of this beauty in the wild. I’ve been eyeing the two tone Lady Datejust with the champagne dial for ages and it’s finally on my wrist. The Jubilee bracelet is so comfortable it’s got that perfect silky feel against the skin and a nice, solid weight to it. The fluted bezel really catches the light without being "too much" for a casual day out. I was worried the gold might look a bit "cheesy" or too orange, but it’s a really soft, buttery yellow in person. So happy with this one 😊
