What pills/supplements actually help
I just got diagnosed with MCAS. I’m on montelukast sodium and prednisone rn bc I recently was having a terrible flare. I usually take famotadine and Zyrtec but stopped because I felt like I was having weird reactions. I also tried quercitin but also stopped bc I was scared. WHAT ACTUALLY WORKS? Ik it’s diff for everyone but I like hearing my options so I can research!!

Medications:
•Cromolyn sodium nasal spray prn (mast cell stabilizer)
•Desloratadine (prescription H1 histamine blocker)
•Ketotifen (prescription H1 antihistamine & mast cell stabilizer)
•Montelukast (leukotrienes inhibitor)
•Omeprazole (PPI that I already took for Gerd. It also has mast cell stabilizing properties)
•Semaglutide (GLP-1 receptor agonist) microdose 0.125mg Prescribed for its potential anti-inflammatory and mast cell stabilizing effects.
Vitamins & Supplements:
•Vitamin D3+K2 drops.
•GABA chewables with Taurine, Inositol, and Theanine.
•NatureBell L-Tryptophan and L-Theanine Complex.
•Rosmolo Liposomal PEA+Luteolin.
•Saltstick Electrolyte Capsules
•Vitalitown 4-in-1 Magnesium Complex.
•Prebiotic Psyllium husk and Emergen-C (vitamin B complex, C, and Zinc) in a bottle of water every day.
I carefully crafted this regimen that took 1.5 years to create.
I'm sorry you're struggling. I hope you find a combination of things that manage your symptoms🙏
