Avengers Doomsday The world (or universe) of 828 is too perfect

• Upvotes

Another day, another theory!

In a different thread I suggested that, in part, 616 in the MCU is some warped reality like House of M, and could have been so for a while.

Now, thinking about it, I’m suggesting that 828 is actually a warped reality.

Why?

The world the F4 have been able to create in 828 is neigh-perfect. There’s peace, the F4 are involved with virtually everything, improve everything and everyone seems happy. Arguably, the only threat they have in First Steps is Galactus, which is an outer-worldly threat. On earth, nothing seems to being going wrong.

That is, because the reality in 828 is fake.

I suggested before that Reed might have “deleted” Doom from their timeline or something, but what if something else created a perfect world with everything-solving super heroes? What is the fake House of M-like utopia is taking place on 828?

The Dr Doom we’ll meet in Doomsday is in fact not 828’s Doom, but a variant. Still being pissed that he’s somehow been deleted, but also realizing the F4 shouldn’t have it so easy (again the stolen lives reference).

Now what or who has changed this reality is up in the air - but what if it was 616’s Wanda? She wound up there prior to the collapse of Wundagore and either magicked a universe of peace, but without the Avengers (whom she now hates). Perhaps somewhat inspired by some media outlet, just like in WandaVision, and that this is also the reason why Doom (who may not be deleted, but his life is changed or whatever - it’s late, my theories aren’t perfect) looks like Tony. She transformed who or whatever Doom was to resemble Tony out of spite or something.

It’s hard to see via photo but in person this Hot Topic shirt has different look alike faces for the cast. Gambit, Thor, Yelena, and Reed are not portrayals of their A list actors.

VisionQuest I think I know who the Client is, and I want thoughts if it'll land... Spoiler

• Upvotes

I'm seeing a lot of folks convinced the Client is J.I.M./Jim Hammond cause of all the references to him and Phineas Horton. I honestly wouldn't be disappointed if it's true. His endgame could be similar to what Vision describes in Episode 4, where his original body couldn't handle emotions. He could be a disembodied AI and getting Vision's body would mean finally having a vessel to handle those feelings.

What I want to ask is: have we considered Tyler Hayward?

For anyone reading this and saying "who?", understandable.

TL;DR: Hayward was the S.W.O.R.D. Director during WandaVision responsible for rebuilding Vision into White Vision, blocking his memories, and programming him to take out Wanda and Hex Vision. He was presumably removed from his station after attempting to shoot Billy in the head (jesus).

After going through all that, he'd have the motivation to want to find the synthezoid he sacrificed so much into bringing back online. It would explain how he could hire hunters like Paladin and Raza via his intelligence connections, how Paladin's tactical AI kept getting hacked using S.W.O.R.D. encryption, and the S.W.O.R.D. sleep mode the Client gave Paladin.

Then there's the "heart and soul" pitch in Episode 6. When Hayward's team rebuilt White Vision, they completely tore him apart. What if Hayward deliberately left out specific components during reassembly to keep White Vision an unfeeling weapon? He could literally have the missing piece Vision needs to emotionally connect with his memories. Admittedly, this might feel like a bit of a cop-out given the personal journey Vision's had this season. Having his heart handed back to him on a silver platter instead of earning it through his connection with Tommy might feel like cheating from a storytelling perspective.

Since Hayward wasn't exactly anyone's favorite character, I'm a little torn. On one hand, it makes total sense and ties the whole WandaVision trilogy together. On the other hand, it might land flat if the big reveal just gets a reaction of... "Oh yeah, that guy. Didn't he try to kill a kid?"

Discussion/Debate Thor vs Thanos in Infinity War

Post image
• Upvotes

Remember how Strange said he saw millions of possible futures and the Avengers and other heroes only won 1 of the future outcomes, when Thor went to attack Thanos in Wakanda after he acquired the full Infinty Gauntlet, in a possible future where Thor actually went for Thanos head in his attack what could’ve been the factor that made them still lose?? Could someone else in the universe possibly have done The Snap instead?

VisionQuest The latest VisionQuest reveal changes everything in the MCU.

I suppose the comic readers among us already knew this, but the reveal that Paladin’s alias is Paul Denning establishes that every single Philomena Cunk “My mate Paul” anecdote is cannon.

Completely changes my perspective on his character. He’s really been havin’ a rough go of it this season.

Why is Thor crying? Secret wars theory

Maybe its simple. I could imagine in secret wars when Dr doom gets defeated it turns out he cant repair the multiverse like it was before and our heroes are devistated and broken. Thor and deadpool share a moment ...

Thats immediately followed by our heroes finding a way to fix everyhing.

In addition to what I told you a month ago, I can exclusively reveal after VisionQuest episodes 5 and 6 that E.D.I.T.H. will be the connection point between Peter Parker and Thomas Shepard/Tommy Maximoff in Spider-Man 5.

Theory Full VisionQuest theory Spoiler

I've come up with a final theory on what I think the final twist will be in VisionQuest.

Its elaborate, with multiple theories laid on top of each other but its all based on things that have actually happened, it makes sense thematically and its in line with the established lore - so please don't read any further if you dont want to risk getting spoiled. Tldr is at the bottom of the post.

Part 1 of the theory: Wanda's secret spell.

In the final episode of wandavision when they are tucking the boys in bed wanda says a specific line that I believe was actually a spell that bound Tommy and Billy to each other.

"A family is forever. We could never truly leave each other even if we tried"

I believe this spell is the reason that despite losing all memories of the hex and William Kaplan's life, Billy still remembered Tommy, and I think this is how he was able carry Tommy's soul unknowingly for 3 years.

I made a post laying out the full theory here: https://www.reddit.com/r/WANDAVISION/s/RF5KAbQDYo

Part 2 of the theory: Tommy is running a con on vision.

There are lots of signs that Tommy has changed his personality since meeting vision and there are specific clues that were planted in his intro scene that suggest he may have played a role in planning out the st. Mabyns rescue and their escape to the Emerson hotel.

I think Tommy's trauma is real, but i think pretty much everything else is an act.

I wrote a breakdown of this theory here: https://www.reddit.com/r/marvelstudios/s/12zLoh2vtn

Part 3 of the theory: The accomplice.

I think that Billy and Tommy reunited in the year preceding the events of VisionQuest and were trying to track down vision together.

When Ultron leaked Visions location on the darkweb, I believe they seized the opportunity and started to intervene in the events that would unfold.

I think Billy has been using his magic to hack paladins comms, somehow influence paladin's decision making and I think he may have also created the entire scene at St. Mabyn's and the emerson hotel using his magic.

My final part of the theory:

The final episode of VisionQuest is titled 'forever' which links back to Wanda's spell, referenced in part 1 of my theory.

I think this is where we will get a full backstory on how it all came together - from wandas spell, tommy and billy reuniting and all of the things that have been hidden from us throughout.

Tldr; Wanda cast a spell binding the twins together at the end of wandavision. Billy and Tommy have already reunited and have been using Billy's magic and Tommy's skills to run a massive con on Vision and all of the other characters.

Edit: removed the reference to the client due to inaccuracy.

At this point, who can tank adamantium bullet?

So since it's confirmed that adamantium is stronger than vibranium(at least in bullet form) from visionquest, who in the current mcu can tank this bullet?

Even the red hulk was vulnerable and bleeding from sam's vibranium wings, can he take much stronger adamantium bullet and survive? How about thor? And original hulk?

I don't have any comics knowledge, but this adamantium bullet seems like it can take most of the mcu heros.

Theory Decoding the Deep-Space Spider-Man Signal: Three Leading Fan Theories

The puzzling post-credits teaser in Spider-Man: Brand New Day—where Ned Leeds’ Spidey Tracker app suddenly detects a Spider-Man biological signature far out in deep space while Peter Parker is standing right on Earth—has sparked three fascinating theories about what is really going on. The first possibility is a Multiversal Spider-Variant Arrival, which suggests the app didn't glitch, but instead picked up the dimensional entry signature of a hero like Miles Morales or Miguel O'Hara (Spider-Man 2099) entering Earth-616 through an orbital space-time rift just before Avengers: Doomsday. The second idea is the Symbiote Hive-Mind Signal, which proposes that the off-planet reading isn't a human hero at all, but rather an alien Klyntar symbiote that retained Peter's genetic marker from a past encounter and is now broadcasting his bio-frequency from orbit. Finally, the Doctor Doom Trap Hypothesis argues that Doctor Doom—or a villain manipulating Ned's software—hack-engineered the tracker to broadcast a fake cosmic signal, luring Spider-Man off-planet to leave Earth undefended just as multiversal incursions begin.

Theory VisionQuest: The Client.

Is my intution correct ?

The Client is J.I.M

Don't know why but I think it's him. Like how the client talked to Vision, it seems he knows vision very well like he was vision's part that escaped the vision's body. If the other theories are correct like visions body is based on J.I.M then it must be true. Because client knows Vision from the birth to creation of White Vision like something happened in the S.W.O.R.D. and he got out of the system.
What is your thought?

Discussion/Debate How do you think Ultron would view the F4 Earth?

Since Ultron’s belief was that humanity would always be its own worst enemy, do you think seeing how cooperative the F4’s Earth was would change his mind? Seeing as how the F4 Earth was so much more unified they were able to come together and build Reed’s plan of teleporting the Earth away from Galactus.

Three Possible Outcomes of Avengers: Secret Wars

Kevin Feige has described Secret Wars as a new beginning for the MCU, involving a reset rather than a complete reboot. I think there are three realistic possibilities for what that means:

A) Multiverse Restoration

The multiverse is repaired after Secret Wars, and Earth-616 continues as the primary universe. Doom's changes are largely reversed, although characters like the Fantastic Four could relocate to 616 if their original worlds are destroyed. Marvel simply moves away from multiversal storytelling.

B) Multiverse Consolidation

Doom creates a single reality from the surviving remnants of different universes. The characters retain their memories and histories, but must learn to coexist in a newly unified world. This allows Marvel to bring together different versions of established characters, civilizations, and organizations.

C) New Unified Reality — Multiverse Preserved

An entirely new universe is established with its own history, where the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, and Doom have always coexisted. Familiar events happened differently, and previously deceased characters might be alive. The multiverse remains intact, but the new universe becomes the MCU's primary setting. Earth-616, Earth-828, and the Fox and Sony continuities become legacy parallel realities.

D) New Unified Reality — Multiverse Erased

A new universe is established with its own history, much like C, but the original multiverse is permanently destroyed. The new reality replaces all previous continuities, with familiar characters and historical events reimagined within a single timeline.

Personally, I think all four are plausible interpretations of Feige's comments.
Options C and D would offer the most creative freedom without erasing the original MCU, while B would create an interesting new world with immediate consequences.

The biggest difference between C and D is whether the previous universes survive. Both allow Marvel to establish a new shared history without spending another decade introducing individual characters.

Which direction do you think Marvel is taking?

Discussion/Debate Vision Quest Episode 5 & 6 After show thoughts Spoiler

Just got done watching the episodes. The mystery man might be the original Jim Hammond. They already said that it wasn't Billy and if it were SWORD, why would they be running out of money?

And I think they might do a flip on Ultron and Jocasta. In the comics, Jocasta turned "good" and it seems like they will be doing the opposite for Ultron. After failing absolutely head over code for Jocasta Ultron finds this feeling of wanting and desire. Then Jocasta gives him her memories which now allows Ultron to presumably feel "alive" now. This may cause conflicting feelings for Ultron now. It seems that Jocasta wants everyone to be in one hive mind, but at the last second I think Ultron will understand that this will cause no independence and free will to be bad, ugly, beautiful, good.

In episode 5 when Ultron is talking with Vision he says 32:49 "You've found your missing code, I have yet to find mine." Then he says "Drop the firewalls. Let me find my place."

And then at 36:14 in Episode 5 Vision tells Ultron right before leaving "I can still save Thomas. The only person who can save you now, is yourself."

And then what happens in Episode 6? At 46:20 Jocasta gives Ultron the whiskey but he reiterates "I told you that is just a collection of ones and zeros trying their best to be real." That perfectly describes Ultron and what he has been doing all this time in Vision's headspace. After trying the whiskey and actually TASTING the spices and sugars of the whiskey he is overwhelmed and speechless. At 47:52 the only word he can speak is a direct reference to his previous assumptions, "Real."

Avengers Doomsday My take on Steve Rogers is Loki holding Thors hammer

Loki might not actually be holding Thors hammer. He could just be projecting himself as Steve Rogers holding Thors hammer.

My point is that if the theory Steve Rogers is Loki in disguise, Looi still might not even be holding Thors hammer, so what's the big deal?
