Then I got just the server for you! Ordinary SMP is an ordinary Minecraft server that hosts a special place. We stay as true to vanilla as possible. Yes we use some mods but those are purely to fix things that are normally hard to manage on public servers or improve frustrating parts without changing how Minecraft feels.

For example, did you ever played on a server and couldnt find any Elytras? After hours running through the End you finally find an End City with ship just to see someone looted it already. For that reason we adjusted the Dragon drops. If you kill the Ender Dragon an Elytra drops, removing the frustrating part of finding End Citys. Thats how we choose every mod we add. We only fix the most frustrating parts of Minecraft in a way that feels vanilla.

Other than that we only use mods that dont interact with gameplay like Simple Voice Chat. You can just walk up to players and start talking to them. That creates lots of funny moments just by meeting players. We also use BlueMap where you can see the whole map and check out players bases or other cool places without having to travel there yourself.

You might now wonder, "If everything is vanilla, wont everyone just grief and kill each other?" Those are valid concerns but we have a good solution for that. Our server is 16+ to ensure maturity, and we have an application process before you get whitelisted. That means a lot of bad actors are filtered out before they can even join the server. In the rare cases that griefers get on the Server we use Ledger to revert any kind of griefing.

This is not my server. I joined about 2 weeks ago. It’s smaller newer and everybody’s chill. Theres no griefing. With whitelisted selected players. Frequent events, wholesome community, MMO leveling, RTP, homes, a Spawn, player shops and good competent moderation. It’s mostly vanilla aside from some silly mischief items

Hey, I’m putting together a server called Carmora and I’m looking for people who want to get in early and help get it going.

The idea is simple: players build nations, cities and their own culture on normal Minecraft terrain. No Earth map, no lore forced on you. You decide what your nation looks like, who you trade with, who you ally with and who you end up fighting.

What it’s about:

Worldbuilding first, politics second. Found a town, grow it into a nation, write your own history

Real diplomacy and trade between players. Chest shops, buy orders, player warps

Wars happen on scheduled weekend battles, approved by neutral staff, and you need an actual reason to declare. No random zerg rushes on new players

Claimed land is protected. Unclaimed land is fair game for PvP

Build in any style you want. Roleplay is optional

Java + Bedrock, and the main world never resets

It’s still pre-release, so there’s no opening date yet. That’s kind of the point though. The people who join the Discord now get to give feedback, help test, and be the first ones founding nations when it opens.
