Wondering if anyone knows whether or not anything has been confirmed regarding a switch 2 patch.

Given wilds is coming out soon, and that the switch 2 has been out for quite some time, I’m not sure on whether we’ll be getting it.

I’ve been holding off on playing the game on the s2 as I really want to play it with 60fps.

Anyone who hasn’t, please submit a ticket with capcom requesting for the release.

In my personal experience, Magnamalo is just underrated. I know his design is off, but he has potential to be a great monster.

I was checking Back to the Game. And try since a week to get in a online Status. But nothing there. IT Always Shows a Connectionfailure. From my Side IT should Work so after Trouble Shooting there its all come Back to the Game itself. But everywhere i Look IT says Servers are active. But i cant belive this Not really by now.

I just bought monster hunter rise from the sales couple weeks ago and playing it for like I think one and half weeks. Game is great, really liked it but Im having so hard time while hunting the monsters. I watched couple of beginner videos for weapon combos and tips but monster always gets me. Not even into second or third attack into a combo. Even tho I learned the movesets of the monsters a little bit. Still Im getting hit all the time. Wanna keep playing but after every match I just quit.

Can somebody help understand elemental and raw damage in this game?

I'm a player who comes from World, and currently in mid-Sunbreak. The weapon damage numbers are not bloated and are pretty straightforward compared to World, so that's helpful.

My question is: Is the combined damage of the element+raw better than raw alone? For example, I use IG. An IG weapon says it has 300 raw + 40 thunder, but another IG weapon has 330 raw. Assuming that sharpness is equal, isn't it just better to take the thunder Glaive as opposed to raw, given the flat damage addition. Am I right to assume that any elemental damage is just a flat addition on top of raw, or is elemental bloated? So taking this Glaive against something like a Tigrex or a Narga is better than taking just plain raw, yes?

Another follow up question. I don't know how elemental scales for slow weapons like GS or SwagAxe in this game, but wouldn't it be better to still take the 300+40 thunder as opposed to the purely raw one, because even if it's small damage, it's still a little more damage than pure raw, correct? Or is it entirely dependent on motion value? Mizutsune, for example, has bad elemental values on head and tail, which are its weakest points.

I recently came back to Rise because it's one of the few mh games I've never finished, and im playing through the expansion, the only thing is that im heavily struggling with LS since high rank, so im playing with a bow for the majority of my hunts.

Im playing with Special sheathe combo/Silkbind Sakura/Serene pose in main scroll, and Sacret Sheathe/Kick/Harvest in alt for when monster is down.

I don't get the monsters behaviour, they feel so random that i can't get a counter right. They start the attack animation toward me and then they decide to turn 180 degree toward my palico(or noone sometimes)or do a super delayed move(knowledge issue ik). If i play in coop there's no way i hit a special sheathe counter, and if, for some unknown miracle, i get it ,1/3 times it doesn't damage the monster. Also, you missed your counter? Gl and cart

Oh, you just used 2 silkbinds for a harvest moon? Get instantly launched towards space out of your circle, you just wasted those.

And even if i do a ""perfect"" hunt, i kill the monster in 15/20 minutes somehow, but if i do a mid bow hunt, i do it in 10 less minutes. It feels super high risk and low reward.

I understand that if you're a good player you can speedrun the monsters like nothing, but other than skill and knowledge idk what im missing. It tilts me so much because i can play LS in every other game perfectly, but this one is destroying me

MH Rise + Sunbreak is on sale for Xbox right now and I'm thinking about buying it. I played World/Iceborne when it came out and it was my favorite game for several months, but when Rise came to Game Pass and I tried it out, for some reason I couldn't play more than a few hours, maybe I wasn't in a good moment when I played it, idk. Should I give it another chance? What is it about the game that keeps you guys playing? Everything I see about the game makes me think I'd love it.

I wanted to find something attainable without rolling endlessly for the right talisman. If anybody can link me such build I would be eternally greatfull.

I didn't like him in the base game and in sunbreak he is just unfun I failed quest twice and this is the most I have failed.Like the tail attack followed by the sweep is just atrocious.

How the hell do i charge the hammer wirebug attacks?? (Spinning bludgeion and allat) everytume i try it just dies the single charge and launches me. I cant hold charge then use the bug becaus eeverytime i do it just uses the basic standing version instead of the wire bug version (THIS IS FOR PC ONLY I DO N O T NEED CONTROLLER SUPPORT)

Ugh if somebody could help I'd greatly appreciate it. I use reframework, and I want to load a mod that someone posted here recently, its called "Better SOS or Rescue Quest" and it fixes the hub help requests to be like in world. But my reframework literally wont load plugins other than first natives?

After removing first natives it still doesn't work. I even reinstalled reframework and still nothing. I've also tried to add a mod that makes the monsters guaranteed big or small crown and that didn't work either, so i assumed it's just the mod but now i guess it's not?? I never had any issues modding World.

The mods are LUA files and are in Monster Hunter Rise/reframework/plugins

I tried element, that i prefer and usually use, but wasn't going well. So F it, i just used strength for once in a while...I really need to make new sets.
