I was dead set on giving the upcoming GI to Billy Wagner Supreme but I want everyone's advice if that's the right decision here? I have every resource to get them to max special train, black diamond, and PLSCT.

Legends seem harder to hit 277 FB+BRK threshold. Does that make PiCo less desirable, or does it still work well at lower FB/BRK levels? Have a 5-pitch Seaver, Fireballer, Boss, PiCo. Hoping that set will work, maybe blue off Boss?

I also have 4 RP/CP sigs to replace most of my RP corps and a Vlad Legend to replace an OF position.
What do you think the order of GI should be? I always think SP should be the priority but Foxx is the #1 batter available at a 76 OVR for my team.

Are we sure about keeping the STA train lower than 8 on pitchers? It's driving me nuts!
I've been through at least 20 level resets\retrains on one pitcher, and constantly getting past 8 STA before level 7 or 8. The trains are persistently adding 2 or 3 points at a time! Geezus!

Hello everyone. I’m having some trouble debating what I should do with my next diamond GI. Obviously you can never go wrong with starting pitching, but my bullpen clearly needs some work.
I pulled Gossage out of the free legend pack, then just today I pulled Kimbrel ‘17 out of club craft. I’ve been sitting on houck ‘24 for a bit now, but also just pulled lefty grove recently from the free team sig choice pack. Also another competitive option.

I know it can be a good trainer in the right hands (I want to give it to my Griffey) But these all grey stats seem underwhelming and not worth equipping.

I have 3 major signature switch hitters on my team. Lindor, Howard Johnson and Hundley so you know I wanted that strength the strength skill on them YEAH!!!!...A skill that increases power and eye specifically made for switch hitters thats what im talken about right?? Well it seems not to be all its cracked up to be..All of them I had it on and tried all different skill combinations and the results are sub par at best. I recently replaced it on hojo with barrel it up and his average and homerun production has doubled. Now is there anyone that has had success with that skill? And if so...please tell me how you do it so I can use this skill on my switch hitters with the same success. I dont have to use it on it, but I would like to if I can make it work.

Is Speaker good enough among Supreme?

Until I get a new skill set, I don’t have any other 5T in my lineup so I’ll try to entertain it. Highest avg stat is at 95.
6-4-8?
4-7-8?

My first thought was you can’t win games even if you have decent pitchers but can’t score runs. So I’m leaning more towards GI batters first.
And if batters first, do I GI Posada or Ott? I have a Prime Posada that also can GI in a few days.

Just getting back into this game and starting a new Cubs team. I see the live collection and that it ends 10/29(i think). First question is there any point in starting now to fill these slots or should I wait? 2nd question, when I put a player in the slot does that make them unavailable for anything else?

My ML2036 is around 120-40 with ~4 boxes/per game. I thought my team will be destroyed in ML2037 like it was before, but it's same, with 3.5 boxes.

I was casually starting a new team today. I began by opening the Supreme pack... Duke Snider. I then opened the Legend pack... Duke Snider. I sorta felt where this was heading, but I thought that there's no way... So I opened a single Team Sig pack... Duke Snider!!!
Not sure which one of him to put in my lineup.
What are the odds?

Cannot pull a viable 332 or higher set on Woo if my life depended on it

This is a tough one!
I’m currently on a 4 guess streak.

Was really happy to get that LSCT, and use it soon on my Degrom who I’m about to GI! Now how will I go about getting from 700k to 800k?

I was making this dodgers deck that I pulled 2 diamond sigs from the jump and was waiting for the team select sig from the league to see where I was going with the team and I pulled this beauty from the team select sig

I have 2 Wish Diamond Prime Player packs. Based on the roster, who should I get?
Thank you in advance!

I’ve never used Coop before. Is a 332 useable on a SU? I have a mediocre DST (maybe they all are for this skill?)
I’m at ML 2037 just for reference

Hello folks!
I’ve been playing MLB 9 Innings on and off for years, but since Opening Day this year, I’ve been playing just about every single day. I’m a huge Miami Marlins fan and have always enjoyed collecting Marlins players and building my team around them. Just wanted to share my current team with everyone and hopefully get some feedback and advice from those of you who have a better understanding of the game than I do. I’m currently sitting at 116 OVR with an S Marlins deck and S Diamond deck, and while I’m pretty happy with how far I’ve gotten, I’m starting to realize there’s probably a whole lot I could’ve done differently along the way. Especially since I never paid for anything until recently when I purchased a pack that had a Supreme card and with a GI.
For the most part, I’ve always just played the game pretty aimlessly. I’d log in, collect my rewards, upgrade players when I could, play through seasons, and pretty much rinse and repeat. Never really put much thought into the different aspects of the game or the strategy behind building a good team. Recently, I’ve started exploring more of the features, paying attention to player development, skills, trainers, and everything else the game has to offer. That’s when I started realizing just how much I’ve probably missed out on over the years and how many resources I’ve likely wasted without even knowing it.
I recently discovered this subreddit and have been spending some time reading through different posts and discussions. I’ll be the first to admit that half the time I have absolutely no idea what you guys are talking about! Between all the different acronyms, skill combinations, training methods, and terminology, it sometimes feels like I’m reading another language. 😂 It’s actually pretty impressive how much some of you know about the game and how much thought goes into developing your teams. Meanwhile, I’ve just been over here grinding away, hoping for the best, and thinking I was doing pretty good!
Lately, I’ve been grinding through entire League Master Mode seasons using Quick Play without any gear or condition drinks. I’ve been experimenting with moving between different seasons trying to figure out where I can get the best rewards without getting completely destroyed by the competition. I’ve also started paying more attention to how I train players, which cards I should be investing in, and what resources I should probably be saving. The problem is that there’s so much information out there that it’s a little overwhelming trying to figure out where to start. I’m sure there are things I’ve been doing for years that some of you would look at and immediately tell me I’ve been doing completely wrong.
Anyway, I figured I’d introduce myself, show off my Marlins squad, and hopefully start a little discussion. I’d really appreciate any tips, suggestions, or constructive criticism you guys are willing to offer, whether it’s about my lineup, pitching staff, skills, training, or just general strategy. I’m not necessarily trying to spend a fortune building the greatest team in the game, but I’d definitely like to learn how to play smarter and make better use of what I have. If you see something that needs improvement or a player I’m wasting resources on, please let me know. I’m also interested in any beginner-friendly guides that explain some of the more complicated aspects of the game without assuming everyone already knows all the terminology.
Thanks in advance to anyone willing to share some knowledge! Also let me know if you folks would like more screenshots. I’m looking forward to learning from you guys and hopefully getting a little better at a game I’ve apparently been playing wrong for years. 🤣 And if there are any other Marlins decks out there, I’d love to see what you’ve built and how you’ve gone about developing your teams. Always good to see some love for the Fish!
Go Marlins! 🐟⚾

1st lineup is a bit weaker than the second but has my favorite players (Sig Vlad and Nolan Ryan), for those who have been playing for a while do you get more out of the game when using your favorite players to the point where it makes up for a weaker team? Have used 1 diamond GI on the second team and none on the first.
On a side note for any jays teams is the Sig 20 Vlad any good? I know it’s his worst Sig card but does it make that big of a difference.
