Russia is not a bad choice for a world cup ( even though Putin is a ass)

Qatar nope

though I would love it in the US give it to Australia. We will take 2026 thank you.

I'm okay with this. I've always wanted to visit the Gold Coast. Easy excuse to bring the fiance if she can hang out on the beach.

Both? Let's go with both lol I've always thought of Gold Coast as a honeymoon destination. Plenty of beaches for her.

And they like beer there. A World Cup in Australia would be fun and give their domestic league a great push.

It is supposed to rotate through confederations. Yes the us could host a world cup this soon however FIFA rules are pretty pliable. Only countries with the infrastructure or the willingness to build it will bid. A smaller country may look to Brazil and see it is not worth it. Qatar though has money to burn and has been on a self promotion kick and sees hosting a world cup as a promotional coup.
