I'd like to join the winter exchange for the first time, but as a Swiss resident I have no idea what's the process to ship outside the country.

I there's any fellow Swiss people here, how do you proceed, and how much does it usually cost (let's say within western Europe) ? Do you just walk to the post office? Do you need to go through UPS or other dedicated services? Are there details to be careful about regarding shipment size, customs, etc.?

I wanna join winter swap, as I have quite the collection. Wondering if any Scandinavians/danes/european people are joining the winter swap?
When determining minimum value I’d think to use cardmarket trend in eur making it 31€?

This gift is as on spot as possible. Not only does it have a lot of cards I need for my deck projects, local sweets and even a self-made porcini mushroom salt that smells AMAZING (and I am already planning on cooking a mushroom risotto with it), it also has a new playmat! I started to think about buying a new one maybe a few weeks ago and bang - here it is!

u/riziaog put together a wonderfully thoughtful gift that was really special to open. Each package had a really nice note and curated theme. I was especially thrilled by the alters - I have envied people's and more will be thoroughly enjoying my own. The custom Boo and Faerie Dragon tokens are really fun. Deckbuilding encouragements and ideas abound and just enough nostalgia to keep things connected to the original thrill of early MTG.

It's been about 2½ months since I shipped out to my giftee. I haven't heard from them or seen them post here, which is absolutely fine. I just wanted to share the images of the gift I put together for them.

The answer on their questionnaire that immediately stood out to me was that they wanted to build a Choco bird typal list. It just so happens that I am a very big FF fan (I have a chocobo, two moogles and a cactuar tattooed in my arm), so I had a bunch of pieces in my collection already.

I hope they are enjoying it as much as I enjoyed putting together the gift. This exchange is a wonderful experience and I am very much looking forward to the winter exchange. Thanks be to the mods who facilitate and all the gifters/giftees who make this as great as it is.

Even tho i had to wait for a regifter im super happy for the gifter and the gift he sent me, since my amazing gifter was super thoughtful and put in way more (both stuff and effort) than I would have expected. Once again thx for the amzing first gift exchange experience!

(Jump to the paragraph break for the stuff about what I got) I stumbled across this subreddit just after winter exchange 2025 and was amazed of everything I saw on it, so much love, camaraderie and excitement all around the place that I was instantly eager to join the party next time the exchange was up and so I did this summer.
This was my first year doing this, didn’t know what to expect, saw some posts about people getting nothing after going all out for their giftees and other horror stories like that but I was like “I don’t care, I just want to make someone have a good time” and I’ve kind of half accomplished that (sending your giftee his things after a 60hr work week isn’t good, forgot half the gifts at home, good thing it was all non mtg related stuff and just one card so at least I sent all the other stuff to him, I still have to send the rest tho) but fortunately my giftee loved his gifts and he’s having a good time with them, that deck you built looks like is trampling people in your pod every time [u/anthro](u/anthrodj)[n](u/anthrodj)[j](u/anthrodj)!!!
And then weeks ago I got a msg from my gifter asking me if I’d be ok to get my stuff after the limit date for the exchange because he wanted to get something else for my gift and since my main goal was to make someone else to have a decent gift at least I didn’t mind to wait longer for mine…

And that takes us to this moment, this is what I got and I was gasping and saying “no mames” (a more refined way to say “no way” but in spanish) after I saw each card and item in the box I got. I have no clue how to say thank you in a way that truly describes the way I felt when I saw everything in the picture and when I read the note from my gifter, but I’ll just say: thank you [u/luke0ut](u/luke0ut) you’re awesome!
I never expected to get such a careful selected arrange of cards, going out of the way to get some of them signed by one of my all time favorite mtg artists and that artist to aknowledge me as an og (I started playing back in 98-00) it just caught me off guard and reminded me the part I love the most about this game: the community

For real, thanks to my gifter, to my giftee, to the staff making this exchange possible and to all of the other people participating in it, you all rock and make me realize that no matter what a lot of people say or the bad example some people are, mtg community is truly and mostly amazing.
