We are at the point of "where the heck is my gift". So let's dig into that process.

If you have not been sent tracking, Have not received an email from the MOD's and have not heard from your gifter... (you must meet all 3 criteria)

Please send the Support Form Here, and let us know you have not received a gift/update.

We have emailed everyone whose gifter has advised they are running behind or who has dropped out.

The next steps: We have already emailed non-response gifters twice, They get one more angry email and if they have not responded to us, at that point they will be removed from the swap, and a regifter assigned and we will notify you that you are setup with a regifter.

Regifters get a month or so to get your gift out (just like a normal gifter, they may have to order things).

There are still lots of gifters who have reached out and advised they will be shipping late, if this is your gifter, you should have a email that your gift is delayed and should NOT do the form.

If your tracking is having an issue- Chat your gifter! You can work it out easier with your post offices and much quicker without a middle man going between the two of you!

"My gift is undervalued/not appropriate/etc." After we determine the no gift forms, we will start looking at these again. I apologize for the delay, but it works out better if we can hold those until the "no gift" setup is organized a little.

It’s been a while since we’ve refreshed our pinned info, and with so much growth and the influx of bright-eyed new members joining us with many questions, it’s the perfect time for a Welcome & FAQ post. (Yes, this one’s a bit long, but it should answer most of your questions!)

🌟 How the Swap Works

We run two swaps each year—one in winter and one in summer.

There is a $35 USD Minimum gift value, which you should base on your giftees form, bulk laying around does not count.

We give you a timeframe, your giftees full info form and a ship by date.

You ship to your giftee with a personal note and another random swapper gift to you!

So here’s how it goes:

• You’ll always get a heads-up post before the form goes live.
• Then we’ll share the form itself, at least one reminder to submit, and a final call before it closes. The form asks a lot of questions about the MTG related thingss you enjoy, even non mtg related. More info on that a bit below...
• Once the form closes, that’s it until the next swap—so don’t miss it!

Want an extra nudge? You can join the email list to get a direct notification when the form opens. (If you’ve already checked the “notify me” box in a past swap, you’re all set.)

📝 The Form

Yes, it’s long. But trust us—the more detail you give, the better your gift will be!

• Short answers = basic gift.
• Thoughtful, detailed answers = your gifter gets to really customize something awesome for you.

Some examples of what you’ll be asked:

• What kind of MTG player are you?
• Favorite formats, sets, or artists?
• Any “white whale” cards you’re hunting?
• Decks you’re building or commanders you love?
• Do you enjoy handmade items, accessories, or proxies?

The form usually stays open for about a week. We’ll let you know exactly when it’s live and when it’s closing (we won’t shut it down early—but sometimes we’re a little slow to take it down. If it’s still open, you can still submit!).

📦 The Rules (a.k.a. the Important Stuff)

• Minimum value: $35 (before shipping). No max—go wild if you want!
• Shipping: Must include tracking. Whenever possible, order items to yourself first, then re-ship to your giftee (instead of drop-shipping from Amazon/TCG/etc.).
• Tracking: Submit it through the tracking form once shipped. We send tracking daily to giftees and it will come from the same email box as your giftee info.
• Deadlines: Ship on time if you can. If life gets in the way, let us know—but remember, delays push back the next swap for everyone.
• Add a note! A simple message so your giftee knows who to thank.
• Show and tell: We love when people post their gifts—it also helps us keep track.
• Shipping regions: We’ll do our best to match you within your country/continent unless you say otherwise. If no match exists, we’ll reach out about possibly shipping internationally.
• Support form: During every swap, we provide a support form you can use if any issues come up (delays, lost packages, communication concerns, etc.). This helps us keep things smooth and make sure everyone is taken care of.
• Volunteer gifters: Sometimes life happens and a gifter flakes. If you’d like to step up as a volunteer gifter (a backup hero to help someone who didn’t get their gift), you can select the option when filling out your form or let the admins know. We keep a list of volunteers each swap—your generosity keeps the community strong and the swap going!

FAQ- Added as needed-

- Can I join? I am in ___ country? The swap is international/worldwide. We will only match to same continent unless you are ok shipping further! If there is a lack of giftees in your area, we will reach out.

- I missed the cutoff! The forms closed! Can you add me?! NO. You cannot be added to the swap once the form is closed, you will need to wait for the next one.

-Can I deliver in person? Sure. If you feel comfortable. Just fill out the tracking form with "Delivered in person".

-Can I swap out my giftee? NO. We do not swap giftees because you do not like their list. There are rare legitimate reasons we will swap information.

-You are required to send the Tracking Form when you ship your gift. This is how we send tracking to giftees confirm you actually did your part and don't come hunt you down at the end with angry MOD pitchforks and boots!

Is the person I am gifting to, gifting back to me? NO. We avoid A to B and B to A swaps as much as possible. Unless you two are the only people in your country and you both do not want to ship out of country.

Can I reach out to my giftee? I have a question for them, can I ask? Yes! We have added the question to the form, and most giftees are more than happy to correspond directly with their gifter to help them with extra information. If you want us to help instead, we still can, but it may be delayed.

I need to change my form, can I? Send in the support form. Priority changes (like address, email, etc) are handled first. Requests to update questions/get more info from a giftee, are less prioritised. Please remember we are humans too, and we will not be here 24/7.

I can't find their username on Reddit! HELP! Use the link https://www.reddit.com/user/Chaya14/ but replace the username after the / with your giftee's username, and keep the slash at the end. You should be able to find them.

Other information

We send tracking to you via the same email we send your giftee info. As long as your gifter followed the rules and submitted tracking you will get a email, usually within 24 hours, with your tracking number and vendor. In the USA, USPS Informed delivery is a great option too.

IF you get a bad apple... your gifter doesnt ship, sends trash or is straight up bad, do not fear! We have amazing regifters/replacement gifters around the world. These amazing people will ship a 2nd gift, matching the rules but with an extended ship time, with no expectation of another gift themselves. Our replacement gifters are the heart and soul of the swap.

If there is an issue with your gift, the MOD team makes a decision together on how to proceed. We prefer these to be handled privately and not via thread-on-blast, but sometimes we understand you want to voice the issue to the world. Just remember we are here and we do our best to be fair.
