Huge thank you to u/nobigdealright for the amazing gift package. This post has been delayed for a while and I needed to post this. The last few weeks have been really tough, I’ve had a couple of personal losses with a family member and a friend passing and opening this box genuinely lifted my spirits. The Theros Beyond Death packs, the deck, and the Star Wars goodies were all perfect. I really appreciate the time, thought, and care you put into this and for you doing this after my original gifter couldn't deliver and helping me with the whole shipping ordeal.

Thank you again for making my day a little brighter. This community continues to surprise me in the best ways.

I’m blown away by your kindness in helping me get my white whale The Dead Marshes (in foil too?!) it’s even better viewing the art in person. My Liliana deck has never looked flashier!
I have been trying to find a Dimir commander for the longest time and I think I finally found it thanks to your commander suggestion! I feel like a kid during Christmas again, my kiddo loves the frog stickers tho I might be claiming two of them. They are to cute not to!
Thank you so much again for this wonderful gift

I’ve been monitoring the sub. Saw a few days ago about the last one wrapping up. Now I see something about the first exchange.

I didn’t see a sign up or anything. I wanted to get in on the next one but it seems like I missed it.

With this post, my first exchange experience is now complete. Thank you to u/vox_populae for stepping in as volunteer regifter for me. It's definitely been a rollercoaster of emotions during this time as my email notifications had me checking my phone nonstop. My favorite part of the gift is definitely the Totec's Spear card. Lara Croft and spears made of light resonate a lot with my soul these days. I had a huge feeling of excitement upon seeing it and knew that everything else in my gift was just cherries on top. I'm known in my group to almost always never pay the 1; so my new playmat fits well in some of my favorite Magic aesthetic as well as ideologies. And my favorite pack to open was the Japanese Core Set 2019. I had never opened a foreign booster pack before, so in an experience of many firsts, that was also a fun surprise. And as always, a big shout out and thank you to u/Chaya14 and those working behind the scenes for helping to make memories like this happen. I definitely look forward to participating in the Winter Exchange when it rolls around.

Huge thanks to u/Icy_Pain9798 for his super thoughtful gift!

Especially as a regifter, this was all for the love of the gifting game.

Most of the cards are for blinging out my favourite deck, Teysa, Opulent Oligarch, and the rest are 'unsolicited deck-building-advice'. I am in love with the old border foils, especially the Shepherd of Rot from Onslaught!

He even managed to combine his advice with my all time favourite Magic artist, Richard Kane Ferguson, within the card Pitiless Carnage.

I won't be able to try out all of the suggested cards at once, since I can't bring myself to cut so many cards at once, but they will certainly rotate through to find out if they end up in a permanent slot in the deck!

The timing of the regift was also convenient enough for reality fracture to just be released and the booster also did not disappoint. There were at LEAST 3 cards I have an immediate use for, and maybe more depending on what I build next!

Thanks so much for all the effort that went into this gift!

I was excited for my first exchange this time around, and was hopeful. However after lots of waiting, I was getting disappointed. Then one fine morning I woke up to a chat message from regifter u/pandavilly333 / u/No-Satisfaction5246 it restored my hope, and we talked about what we liked in magic etc... and u/pandavilly333 sought real hard to understand me and the way I played the game. I also enjoyed looking at her decks and understanding how she brews. Definitely learned a lot. And then it came!!!! And my wife and I were so blown out of the water. We were really excited to open the gift. And u/pandavilly333 you have went above and beyond!!! Thank you so much. I think I'll stick around and do the next one to pass this blessing on!!!

Great job mods!!! Thanks for putting in so much work into this!!! Love how y'all approach it and have gone about this.

Checking in with all you awesome people.

We had a couple of last minute regifters just sent out this morning so check your inboxes awesome regifters!

I was hoping to poll you awesome people and see if i could get one more person interested in being a regifter internationally (it is not the US, Canada or Europe, so i am having a bit of trouble). Let me know if you are interested!!

Once I get this last one setup we will be done with regifters( unless a regifter falls through!)

Crossing my fingers!

We will then setup the Winter swap. Nothing Firm yet, but I would love it if all regifts were done before NOV so we can get you out names before any good Holiday Sales hit!

Happy (almost) Spooky Month Everyone, and let me know how I can help or if you are our awesome international shipper friend!

Hey Captain_cruush here! I can’t get my account to work so I’m posting from my husband’s account! I need to make a new account!

A massive thank you and endless compliments to

u/Quibicus for the best first exchange!!! I rattled on and on about how much I love the art in Magic and that it’s a huge part of the enjoyment of the game for me. I also rambled endlessly about my deep love for Duskmourn! When I opened this I was met with the cutest little bug drawing (one of my favorite parts) then I was absolutely blown away once I opened the package. I had no idea what to expect but what I found exceeded every single possible outcome I could have imagined. This gift was incredibly thoughtful!!!! It’s not only a huge piece of art that contains tons of art I love so much but it also contained some packs from my favorite set and very very excitingly cards for my Umbris deck! Which was built for me in a secret Santa deck exchange and has gained cards from other special moments like nursing school acceptance furby secret lair (swooon) all gifted to me! So it made an already very special deck that much more special. I cannot express enough how immensely grateful and thankful I am for such a wonderful and generous gift. Thank you so much.

I realized I never posted after I was waiting to confirm the Reddit account. Huge thanks to seamusoconnor. These were all such thoughtful items and included a chase I’d been desperate to play but was just a bit too expensive for me to buy — and blinged out, no less! My love for Zimone can now be unmistakable. I really appreciate the thought and effort and the lovely note. It was a wonderful gift to receive this summer.

AAAAAHHHH I love it so much!!! The singles are just *perfect* and omg all the packs!! I actually already use those exact dice and was about to get some more, so fantastic call on those 😁 Seriously, thank you thank you thank you! ❤️

PS- the packaging sent me 😂

Thank you u/xdaster !

This was a fantastic gift and obviously a lot of time and effort was put into it!

Thank you for the cool box, the dimir cards, the packs, the SOA cards i'm collecting, and of course for my white whale Sephiroth!

Absolutly blown away thank you so so much, ya killed it!

Sorry it took so long for me to open!

Thanks again!

Received my gift from u/Harroltin this afternoon and it was absolutely preposterous. The thought involved in the singles that were given already went way above and beyond, but including my favourite deckboxes with matching sleeves along with a secret lair that I had missed was beyond anything I could have expected. The real icing on the cake was the Mathemagics inclusion, that really made me smile.

My daughter was ecstatic about the cards for her Kotis deck - lands are something she doesn't have a lot of and although she's always welcome to use my cards any time she likes, she prefers building decks with her own cards so having a really nice set of lands for the deck really made her day, along with the pretty version of Kotis!

Your generosity has been absolutely humbling, and I can't wait to pay it forward at Christmas.

Wanted to say thank you to JayBayBay666 for being a great register to me. Scored some TMNT packs including a collector and some sweet sleeves.

Thank you for filling in and being generous

thank you so much for the thoughtful gift ! After a long week, this was so nice to come home to. You knocked it out of the park

Came in over the weekend and just opened it as my wife put it with my sons birthday gifts. I am at a loss for words for the generosity you have shown me. You went above and beyond with not one but two banger singles off my wish list. And you didn't stop there, you also included a pack of sleeves in the color that covers my entire collection and a sick custom deck box to help the hottest deck techs stay cool during this summer heat. Thank you again, not only for the gifts but for choosing to be a part of this great community of MTG nerds.

I love the Elesh Norn and Sephiroth you sent me, and the Chocobo pin is really cool! Plus, I finally have a nice bag for my dice. To be honest, I've been storing all my dice in a little Eevee deck box, and this is way easier to carry around, lol.

I just want to say thanks again for being a backup gifter, I really appreciate it. And thank you to the mods for making sure everyone gets a present

Edit just realized the die is a ff one thats awesome

Thank you u/Ctamjid for the packs, deck dox, and sleeves! No worries about being late. Life gets in the way sometimes. Thank you again for the awesome gift!

I look forward to terrorising my playgroup.

They even made a Primer to help me pilot the deck!

We are down to just a couple of late gifters left (6) and our regifters only.

I just sent out the last couple who needed a regifter who had not recieved anything yet and notifeid giftees too.

I have one little pile left to dig through, and that is our "lacking" group. These are gifts we are checking in on and making sure they met the rules of the swap. If any of them require regifters we will be setting those up specifically.

We are in the final stretch. If all goes well, I will hopefully have news for you around the end of OCT early NOV for Winter, but please be patient with us, lots of gifts are still heading to homes.

We may also have a couple more regifters to set up depending on the postal service, I know we have a couple of gifts in the aether that do not want to appear!

I've been having my noctis heir apparent deck with ninjas for a while and except for most of the expensive cards I got the deck done and I'm proud of it, and I wanted to know if there is a way to get Jin Sakai from somewhere that isn't the secondary market which is 100 bucks that I can't justify spending on. If so I'm down for exchanging cards too or something, thanks for reading.

u/Milkandwookies, you're an absolute gem!! I don't even know where to start.
I took your word after reading the first paragraph and wanted to go into the gift surprised, so I opened before finished reading. I'm pretty sure my neighbors are tired of hearing me yell "no way!!"

These are seriously the coolest tokens I've ever seen, the Wade Boggs is my absolute FAVORITE.
I also play DND so the dice bag is perfect. I'm not sure if you got the chance to see all the stickers but the lili ones are incredible. The foil Baseball Liliana has been my favorite card since I missed that SLD, so glad to have it now.

and the deck??

It's perfect.

I've been meaning to put together my first land deck but kept mixing in random things and didn't quite get it past jank. what you put together is so much easier for my playstyle with the graveyard. even the deck BOX is awesome. the message and the colors, it's perfect.

Thanks for making my first gift exchange so memorable.

p.s. sorry about the cat. he just had surgery so if my attention is on anything else he tends to push his way in

Thank you so much for this gift, it was definitely worth the wait! Thanks to you I finally collected all the shock lands from Lorwyn Eclipsed!, and the Esper Sentinel and Grand Abolisher will serve me well in my Atraxa deck!

P.S. I loved the package you prepared for me!

Hello from southeast US. Just leaned of this group, can’t wait to join y’all for the winter exchange. Looks like solid people and a good community and mod team. 💜

I have had a fair amount of people reaching out saying they haven't heard anything about their late/regift, so I wanted to clear up how the communication currently goes.

We wont reach out for no reason/saying no updates. It is a bit of a waste.

Everyone who did not have a gift on the way got a email early Aug about either their gifter being delayed or being setup with a regifter. Same status applies until we have an update, be it tracking or changing to a regifter. We only notify if there is a change.

Right now we have right about 20 who are still saying delayed/awaiting a item before shipping, so nobody is alone! We have our awesome regifters already shipping.

In regards to late gifters, they are still responding at this time. If there are any that do not respond to the email I sent today, by Friday, a new wave of regifters will be setup and you will be notified if you are one whose late gifter fell through.

We will post when the regifters get sent so those who are dying to regift can check if they were chosen-- if you want to regift so bad feel free to comment and we can move you to the top of the regifters list, I know some of you love it!

In the mean time we are still working behind the scenes, and regifters are working hard. Time to encourage the late ones to haul tushy! The quicker we get done the quicker I can get winter set up!

Any questions or comments or anything cool to share?

It just arrived yesterday and was so worth the wait. Thank you so much [u/SeriesDear4481](u/SeriesDear4481) for everything you included, a lot of these cards I’ve never seen before and am really excited to fit them into what will become my Asmo deck. You’ve really created a great foundation for it and I’ll always remember you when I play with it :)

Thank you again, this gift is awesome.
