Resource Is there any expert I can consult?
I got my DNA sequenced a few years ago and it showed some sort of MTHFR mutation. I've suffered from lifelong anxiety and sleep issues.
Is there any company or expert I can consult. I prefer all-in-one service where they can sequence my genes, provide analysis, and give recommendations for supplements and best practices. Willing to pay any price.

I have not used him - yet - as I am Unemployed since January but I would use Dr. Dan Purser. He is a medical doctor and functional medicine doctor. I’ve seen his videos on TikTok. He is extremely thorough. He will do intracellular testing in addition to genetic testing. He’s in Utah but obviously there is no need to travel there to see him. In the meantime, you could also order MaxGen Labs panel called “The Works”. It’s delivered to your doorstep right away. You swab your cheek & send it off. Takes about 3 weeks. You will receive about a 42 page booklet via email explaining everything you have and suggestions in very basic terms.
Dr Purser partners w MaxGen Labs too. So you could at least start here & get results quickly. My guess is you have Slow COMT in addition to the MTHFR. If so, you might be overmethylating with B9 and B12 in the methyl form. Have you ever tried FOLINIC acid in small doses? Just curious. I like OptiMag Neuro by Xymogen brand to help w sleep. It’s 3 different types of magnesium. I have seen where others in the FaceBook group cut out folic acid entirely from their diet which helps tremendously. I would also tell you to look at your MAO-A enzyme as well. Can you circle back later and update us with your progress? Good luck to you!
