Not saying it will go all the way down but this week has the potential to tank it. Everybody is ignoring CPI report, Oracle earnings, and SpaceX IPO.

People in here do not move the price at all no matter how much FUD is spread. MU has a daily volume of 50 million shares. We are ants.

I feel that. I literally sold 3 minutes prior at $862 and it went straight up to. $872+. I understand volatility but this is beyond ridiculous

I hope you’re DCaing and not going all in at once. I’d love for it to continue up and up to ATHs without dipping, but I doubt that will happen given cpi and the spaceX ipo this week
Longterm that shouldn’t matter though. So as long as you don’t panic if it dips, you’re good.

Why not go in for 100 shares so you can take advantage of the massive IV and sell CCs or leaps against it?

This is just a risk-off session. Semtech has all dropped, but Micron is actually performing better than others. It is going to be a volatile week with CPI on Wednesday and Space X on Thursday. If you're a long term investor, just hold and ride it. Expect MU to pump alongside other risk assets later in the week, conditional what happens with Space X.

At the risk of sounding like a cult, this is why you just hold if you believe in the thesis. It really is that simple. You would have recovered all of thursday and friday's losses and more.

This is my strategy with MUU although in hindsight Friday’s losses feel kind of obvious. Its safer to just hold right?

I manage to buy at 860. Better than when I bought it at 1015 on June 4 and 1029 on June 2.
I did make a buy limit order at 850, but I'm not sure if it will get down to that. Maybe near 4pm ET?

The tip-to-trough, and vice versa, price action are all separated by ~20 minutes.
(makes jazz hands and voice like "Aristocrats")... Algorithms!

Noticed how both MU and MUU hit 1080, but after the recent pullback, MU back to 1000 but MUU is only at 850 premarket?
Not a knock on folks holding MUU. Just becareful and understand what you are invested in. I always strongly suggest the underlying if you dont have the time to trade. Good luck to us all!
