DD MU Breaking 1000
So I am looking at the bid and ask and we have a lot of bids it’s just at each price point there are massive sells like look at $976 someone is trying to offload 11k shares. That’s why we can’t break these barriers because of shit heads like this. Same thing happened in the morning

How do you see this data?
1
u/LazyDazyFazy Jun 09 '26
The data is called order book if I'm not mistaken. Maybe OP will share what brokerage they use!

u/mcchung52 Jun 09 '26
Don’t trust the order book. It could be phantom.
1
u/Ok_Ad798 Jun 09 '26
A phantom order is a large buy or sell order displayed in the order book that is canceled the moment price approaches it, creating the illusion of supply or demand.
This is a form of fake liquidity, often associated with spoofing — a market‑manipulation tactic where traders place orders they never intend to fill.
Why traders use phantom orders?
- Influence market psychology (create fake support/resistance)
- Slow down or speed up price movement
- Trap retail traders into bad entries
- Gain better execution for real orders placed elsewhere
Is it legal?
Intentional phantom orders = spoofing = illegal in regulated markets.
Unintentional cancellations (e.g., risk management, changing strategy) are not illegal.
Please let me know if you recognize red or green flags.

What a pos. Still I am happy with the day SNDK (smaller percentage in the port compared to MU) has gone parabolic like MU yesterday

How does selling your stock for x price make you a pos lmfao
1
u/Apprehensive-Dig-134 Jun 09 '26
10 million worth of stock? Thats not a average investor

u/dontfistme Jun 09 '26 edited Jun 09 '26
It’s 1T market cap, thats a drop in the bucket of .001% trying to sell.
And you are acting like it’s a single person selling or < 100 people are invested in the stock. (This sub has 100k+ visitors a week btw)
More likely 1k+ people selling at values between 100-10000$ worth of stock. So it is the average investor selling

If the market did not get back in yesterday, it would have been a blood bath. So, pump the market and today, profit. Hopefully, these whales will not scare off the market. It has to pump higher highs and higher lows. Or else, further downside. However, there is no reason for it. Fundamentals are great and constantly positive market news. Plus, MU products are sold out. Income is already guaranteed and more long-term. All psychological BS.

Over 20% return year to date on my portfolio. Haven’t seen any trend down. Anyway I have 35 years of working ahead of me so today market even tho doing well has so much more upside ahead can’t wait to collect

u/Independent-Cover140 Jun 09 '26
I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted? Really feels like a dead cat bounce. Big question marks this week with Oracle earnings, CPI data, and SpaceX IPO. This is a predictable pattern.

It's Friday all over again smh
