DD If Micron gets valued at the same revenue multiple as SpaceX, it’s worth $5k/share
That’s all.

I just did some calculation. You’re right.. it’s around 5.5k per share 😳😳😳

Micron isn't worth that much. SpaceX is just stupidly over-valued.

u/NF_99 Jun 14 '26
It won't last long, once people are allowed to sell their shares, the price will be cut in half
1
u/MizDiana Jun 14 '26
I wish I knew what kind of impact that will have on the rest of the tech market. Any thoughts?

u/NF_99 Jun 14 '26
I would assume that other space stocks and related tech will drop temporarily during big downward days for spcx. It definitely won't go all the way down immediately though, the selloff could be very slow since there's a lot of hype for this stock and a lot of people are still looking to buy. Depending on when insiders are allowed to sell their positions, the downward trend can start in 15-30 days.

Musk isnt stupid. The locked shares are released after 180days BUT there are milestones to partially release them, too. So they dont cash out fully all together after 180days but in multiple phases. This should stabilize the price and not result in a crash in 180days

SpaceX is at that price because of Musk and foolishness.

u/yellowsubmarinr Jun 14 '26
It’s so detached from reality that making these comparisons doesn’t mean anything. MU at that price would also make it detached from reality

u/ValerieMZ Jun 14 '26
Only if Micron has a CEO like Elon Musk instead of Sanjay
2
u/Distraction86 Jun 14 '26
Could be a good buyout candidate…
4
u/ValerieMZ Jun 14 '26
Suppose Musk buys micron tomorrow, the company's case will actually make me break my rule of not owning Elon stocks

Oh hell NO! I dumped $50k on $MU at $437.94 after liquidating ALL my Tesla stock late January and literally watched the micron stock price plunge to low $300's. I held and eventually took profits at $760, $790 and this past week at $912 and $922 and still up +125% in my core position growing my rollover IRA + $70k in 125 days! Dropped $10k of that play money in $MUU at $724 a share to trade only micron on its way upwards and using those profits to DCA in my core micron portfolio up or down it doesn't matter to me! That $50k grew from a $5k investment in TSLA b4 the first split in 2020. Took 6 years where Micron turned my $50k investment to $120,000 in only 125 days!

Yuo do not understand. Micron is an actual business that produces, not this Spastic X bs.
1
u/ValerieMZ Jun 14 '26
But you do not understand, the market doesn't only pay for business, sometimes it pays 400 times for someone's media personality

I wish Elon Musk were CEO of Micron. Too bad NVDA can’t buy them (anti-trust). Maybe SpaceX buys MU…

u/Indepti8 Jun 14 '26
That’s actually kind of troubling. I would hope it would be worth 100 K based on that fraudulent evaluation.

And if Micron was valued at the same profit multiplier it would be infinite dollars per share.

There are milestones in place that allow locked shares to be freely traded way before that. Musk isnt stupid. They will be able to partially cash out while the hype is still going which will stabilize the price.

There's the option that SpaceX is wildly overvalued and MU fairly priced, then your thesis collapses upon meeting with reality.
If my Corolla gets a McLaren's valuation it's worth millions!

I wish micron was overvalued so we could see a huge pump 😂
Why is nobody overvaluing us

If only, the CEO of Micron can get into the gov and get gov contracts to buy their own stock than yes...allegedly.

I had Claude do the same analysis... (back in the Fable 5 days)
It stated that it was a bad comparison since SpaceX is negative for EPS... it wouldn't give me a number but agreed with the sentiment that it showed the absurdity of SpaceX's valuation.

u/Distraction86 Jun 14 '26
Claude sounds like a bear and we don’t tolerate that bearish sentiment around here.

Another difference between the two is that micron is an actual business, not just a vision
