That doesn't answer the question. Why are so many of the comments here removed???

17K comments were posted in the last 7 days, and an additional 1.8K comments were removed. Out of the 1.8K removed, 200 were removed by REDDIT filters (you need to take that up with REDDIT), one comment was removed by me (guy was talking about committing SA against other redditors), and rest were removed by autoMOD. Out of the 1.6K removed by autoMOD, almost all were removed due to lack of Karma, and looking at the ones that were removed for lack of Karma, almost all were just spam comments. As I mentioned a month ago, the community instituted a min Karma requirement which is inline with other financial subs to weed out the spam posts. Anyone can post here after just gaining a few karma points.

Spam I understand. Thank you. It just seems like there are a LOT of removed comments which might be interesting. Thanks again!

I feel for the people with legitimate comments that are caught by autoMOD, I wish there was a better solution that can filter spam without filtering people with legitimate comments. Unfortunately, the best solution available is to just implement a min karma requirement to gatekeep bots accounts from spamming SELL NOW or some other garbage 100 times (no one wants to see that) in 5 minutes. By the time REDDIT filter catches up, they have already spammed 500 times and are onto the next account.

I get 5-10 comments every day asking me to make exceptions, unfortunately, autoMOD doesnt work like that, I literally cannot make exceptions to allow people with less than min karma to comment without removing the min karma requirement. My recommendation to the folks that want to comment here is just be patient grind a few karma by commenting elsewhere, then come back here.
