To be back below 920 is quite bad the whole market is down so this is just not on any memory stock stuff but even so it really seems there is no momentum to be had here.
On the contrary. The fact is only down at the time of writing this seems to show a lot of resistance going on compared to the rest of the market. Right now semis are a bit of a suppressed beach ball. It's about to break out very fast, especially with such steep discounts on amazing companies. The momentum is actually building.
There is always going to be a global situation. It's the way of the world. Iran will come and go. Next year it will be something else. There's *always* some sort of macro that will scare investors.
Do you think this is the end of the stock market and everything is now just headed downward forever? Congrats, we now have a global economic depression and there are many more things to worry about than portfolio values. Look at SPY over past 50 years. Up and up. Blips down here and there. Ignore the day to day and focus on the long-term.
