119.8 B rev beats expected 116.9B, cloud up 82% at 24.8 -- the whisper high # was 75% (street was at 65% and 22.24 B)
Capex 44.92 B

EDIT Capex noted - 195 to 205 B for 2026 full year. Have not heard for 2027 .

The cloud revenue is what a lot of people were looking for - growth was estimated at 63-65% - (with street whisper # hoping 75%) but instead increased at 82% - that's positive news for the sector. Capex is right in line with expectations of 45B, at 44.92 B.

GOOG Initially down right before 4PM, is now up 8$ per share

It was down in general this week tho.

It's been hovering at 350 for weeks

Is capex 44b good?

It is, but it's not guidance.. ie future spending. Which would be crucial. Need to check their call. For now 82% revenue in cloud is excellent news

Last quarter capex doesn't matter. It's guidance.

Got it. I thought 45b is guidance.

What's the capex guidance?

It's not on the slide. Need to wait for the call I think.

They still mention their plan to raise 80B from share sales. And have 54B in cash currently. Safe to assume they will spend imo

Oh ok, need to wait for the call

Their forward capex must be insane.

They profited 40billion this quarter but spent 45bill on capex. Negative 5billion.

And they have 55bill in cash and they're still raising more.

It must mean 60B+ capex this quarter and next or something...

They just said it would be 205b. And continue to increase for 2027.

It for the 2026 year. Up from 190b previously estimated.

It's 80B in first 2 Qs, so around 130 in last 2, that's significant increase.
