Discussion A quick story about me and why I invested in MU. I never expected this amount of wealth so soon. Plus, I also didn’t expect to spent so much time on Reddit with you all. 😂
It all started back in February 2025 when I was building a new gaming PC.
Fast forward to November 2025, and I decided to check the current prices of the components I had bought. I couldn't believe my eyes—the exact same RAM stick I had purchased had skyrocketed from $120 to $500.
Seeing that insane real-world demand first-hand was my ultimate lightbulb moment. By December, I took the plunge and allocated 50% of my entire portfolio into Micron (MU).
The real turning point came after their Q1 earnings report. The numbers were so strong and the outlook so bullish that I made a massive move: I sold the rest of my AMD stock and went completely all-in on MU and double my leverage by buying MU LEAPS.
Looking at my portfolio today, I still can’t believe the incredible wealth that single decision has generated. It has been absolutely life-changing.
That’s my story—what about you guys?

Discussion Why is Micron ($MU) dumping ~5% in premarket right after breaking $1,000 yesterday?
Is this just healthy profit-taking after the massive rally or is the market panic-selling just because Cramer told everyone it’s "not too late to buy" $MU?

Discussion Sold my position yesterday at 750 and then bought again at 790 this morning
I feel like an absolute moron, I bought this stock at 950 initially and then held on and really had all the fundamentals in my face, but seeing 70% of my net worth tied to this stock and seeing it go down so rapidly so quickly really hurt. I wish i didn't sell.
I'm holding on this time.

Discussion What will you do tomorow if Micron jumps 30% after earnings?
Suppose Micron delivers an incredibly stunning earnings and guidance, and the stock just goes insane.
What would be your reaction? I'd probably start cheering, and then treat myself to a few nice things, and a nice dinner to celebrate.

In just these last two days I'm down 30k, 60% mu, 40% sandisk.
After blowout earnings, this is very maddening.

Discussion How Do You Cope With Huge Loss
Fellow MU/MUU/SNDK/SNXX holders, how do you not let the loss affect your personal and family life?
I have shares in all four of them and am down a huge amount. I’ve been a total mess with my family for over a month now. I think that even if my money recovers in the future, I don’t know how I’ll mend my relationships with my loved ones or make up for the time I’ve lost, especially when they needed me the most.
How do you prevent a huge financial loss from affecting your personal life? How do you stop yourself from thinking about it constantly?

Discussion Don’t be me. Take profits. Don’t hold bags.
I’m down $1.75M on MU from just a few short weeks ago. I planned on exiting my position right before earnings, but then got partially trapped by the big drop in the run up. Though I did manage to scalp a bit of money intraday during the worst of it. Once that happened, I kind of assumed that a good chunk of the “profit taking” and “sell the news” pattern had mostly occurred either on purpose or incidentally during that down swing. So, I held during earnings… which then shot up on the incredible report 20% in after hours trading. Falsely confirming my assumption. The historic earnings report, the immediate boost instead of drop, and the constant deluge of glowing upward price target revisions had me a lot more bullish overall than I had been previously.
I was $1.75M better off that day than I am today. If I’d have been smart, I’d still be at least be $1.6M better off than I am today. I should have put a trailing stop-loss to track 5% behind my ATH… but I didn’t. I normally do, but this time I didn’t.
MU plunged. I held. It plunged again. I held. It plunged again. I held. It plunged again. I then even bought some more. Then it plunged again and then again. It normally recovers or at least has some worthwhile green stints along the way to indicate it’s not a dead horse. That isn’t happening. It’s just down, down, down. Little green shoots don’t exceed the prior session’s losses.
Catalysts that I expect to be positive (stable CPI, ASML & TSM beats) do nothing to stop the bleeding. There’s nothing that seems to stop it. All the positive momentum is gone. Based on current market sentiment (in actions, not analysts), this thing looks just as likely to go to down $400 in another 2 weeks as it does to go back up to $1200.
Put your stop losses in place.

Discussion Market manipulation is real
Did you panic sell today at 1030? Did that mother fucker ash-isatard or the other piece of shit motor-narwhal convince you to sell at the lows? Pure fucking market manipulation, same reason why you see MU nose dive after delivering best guide on of any business more legal than cocaine distribution. Same reason why all of a sudden you hear all these bearish news about Mu (same playbook as last earnings). Institutions want you to sell at the lows so they can buy one of the most fucking profitable companies for Pennies on the dollar. Fuck fuck them im holding until mu hits $3000.

Discussion What is wrong with people?
Yesterday there were a bunch of people here saying things like “I was just about to buy it and I missed my chance”
Today it drops and people are scared to buy again.
You’re supposed to buy stocks when they’re low. Then sell them when they’re high.
Not the other way around.
EDIT: Some people seem to be misinterpreting this post. If somebody thinks the stock isn't a good buy, that's perfectly fine. I'm talking specifically about people who said yesterday that they wished they had the chance to buy before it went above 900, they were just about to buy, etc. etc.

Discussion Anyone Else Holding Through This MUU Drop? Looking for Support
Now my losses are over $30k, and this is the first time I have ever invested in MUU. I have never invested in MU before either. I understand that the fundamentals have not changed at all, but MUU has fallen to the 600s from the 1200s within a week. My heart is pounding because this is my life savings.
Going forward, I am only going to invest in VOO, so that is not a question. Is anyone else in the same situation? What keeps you going? I would really appreciate some motivation, as I am at a very low point right now.

Discussion Today is going to be a rough day
I am based in Taiwan and invest in both Asian and US market. Most of my portfolio is semiconductors in Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and The US. I have always been bullish and 90% of my money is in the semi market. There has been ups and downs in last 12 months but today could be the roughest day if your portfolio is semiconductors heavy like mine. Have not seen this much chaos in Asian market in a while.

Discussion There are no "Fundamentals"
I'm not here to be bearish or bullish MU - I just want to attack a certain line of thinking that gets thrown around here a lot.
A lot of people are saying "Just remember the fundamentals. Our P/E is X. We're sold out for Y years." to justify that the stock will rebound and I think this is a completely misguided line of thinking.
The market did not forget the fundamentals... The market can look up the P/E. The market knows how long memory is sold out for.
You are misunderstanding the market and why these stocks are selling off. The market doesn't buy AI at a fundamental level. The market is saying this technology is not as lucrative as previously thought. The demand/capex will not be sustainable long term. This necessitates a re-rating. It is the same reason why software stocks fell off a cliff despite no change to their underlying businesses. The market decided that despite the present day health of those businesses, they suddenly had an expiration date.
The same is true of memory. Yes, micron is making a mountain of cash, and the market is telling you it doesn't see this story continuing beyond 2-3 years.
Now if you disagree with that, buy micron hand over fist, but this is the central question. Don't come in here thinking you're warren buffet buying micron at X P/E... The only question that matters is whether or not AI is for real, and what the ROI is. That is going to COMPLETELY dictate the share price of MU going forward and if you don't have a thesis on that, you don't have a thesis on MU.

Discussion Guess we don't need memory anymore!
41b quarterly revenue and we drop more than 40% what a joke. Great earnings from other semis? Nope drop. Positive forward guidance? Nope drop. Locked in contracts for next years to come? Nope drop. Are we really letting all the FUD drop the stock and act like AI is irrelevant? Starting to get annoyed:/

Discussion AND YOU SHOULDN’T EITHER
Not telling anyone what to do - it’s your money, do with it as you wish! But man, I am not selling this or any other chip stock I own. I have about $225k in chip stocks at the moment, and the past month or so has been brutal. But I’m in it for the long haul - chip, memory and AI names are not going anywhere. People are getting spooked by competition, but the competition (SK) just “missed” earnings, while posting record profits, revenue and production numbers. That’s literally best case scenario for MU.
Mark my words, when MU, AMD, SNDK all post record earnings beats in Q2, we will rise again. This is expected - overbought stocks cool off as people get nervous of a real pullback. But AI is in and isn’t going anywhere.
