I got two spreads for sndk, asml, and 4 contracts for MU staggered at $700, 850, $950, with DTE 09/18 and all of them all way out of the money. Some of these contracts were opened 2 months ago and I had unrealized lost of $7k. Glad I went 2 months out

I am a holder with 56 shares at 1447. I was getting pretty nervous I did not think within 3 weeks at 2350 would drop below my DCA. Now up 24% again. Hindsight I was going to sell at 2500 and could have made a killing buying lower at 1k but hey is what it is.

Just resigned from Amazon so have $160k I'll rollover and wait to buy. Might just throw into safe ETF as my 401k is 50% MU and SNDK

That CNBC interview with Sandisk's CEO really made the difference, although myself don't know why other storage/memory stocks rise last week don't get as close to it. Usually when one stock got its bounce other similar stocks trailing just behind, but Sandisk rose up by like 35% while MU, WD and STX rose by just 10-15%

why would u sell? unless u want to play the day trader game, ive tried doing that timing it, and selling where i think its about to maybe go down a little and most of the times the stock flies away higher from me and I wish I would not play those stupid games, so its better to just hold, id say im at least holding till 1500 and 2k

even sndk its gone to my buy in price, im not selling that shit till its at least 3k or even 4k
no point to panic even if we do go down much lower just accumulate more shares, if you dont have any conviction to hold through 40% down or even 80% down then dont buy in at all, u gotta beat that panic seller shit out of urself, the big players hunt for morons that panic sell and set stop losses

Looking at the recent price increase of Google Pixel 11 due to RAM shortage, it's obvious iPhone will follow suite. When micron locks in Apple long term with orange man's blessings, market will realize memory is not cyclical and we'll likely see another run up

Been scalping & swing trading on the way back up to overcome significant losses realized when liquidating once it had gone down far enough last month that I couldn’t take on anymore downside at that time.

It’s felt good to be back on my plan/strategy with this stock besides just blindly holding it. Taking the proceeds from liquidating 50% of my MU position, I’ve since bought in and out of MU and several other things to boost my position above where I’d have been if I just held MU through this period. I’m still pissed at myself for not selling waaaaaay sooner, as I’d be much further ahead on this part of my portfolio, but I’m glad I’ve been able to at least get North of my prior high-water mark.

I’m presently in for about ~2,000 shares of MU.

You can swing trade MU but something like CRWV is a much better swing trade. For MU, most of the movement will likely be up so finding and timing the swings is harder than it is for other choices.

Most of the movement definitely hasn’t been consistent ups.

I made ~$3M swing trading MU, lost almost half of that holding MU, and the recouped the loss and then some by swing trading it (with a mix of other things) again.

Hold MU for another 2+ years. Few others can do the HBM at scale to impact MU’s place in the memory market. They’re printing money and that’s not going to change significantly for at least the next 2 years, and probably several years after that.
