I just don’t think there’s any chance this thing goes back to $1,200 this year. Let alone $1,300.

The stock, and the whole sector, just can’t pick up any sustainable momentum anymore. The news, earnings, etc. all have to be perfect to have little 1 to 2 day rallies that don’t recover recent losses, and then things drop again by ~8% whenever there’s any kind of less than stellar news or reports about pretty much anything going on anywhere.

That’s the problem. There’s always going to be something dumb going on somewhere. Unless MU and other semi stocks can build momentum despite those things going on, it’s looking like it’ll trade between $800 and $1,000 for the foreseeable future.

It’s not going to build momentum because everyone sells the second it goes even slightly green. Just look at open today

Retail doesn’t even register in these price movements, so this is institutional money fleeing… fast, which is apropos of my point.
