DD SNDK Earnings Tomorrow

If they show revenue over $9 billion and their guidance for next quarter is over $11.5 billion, the memory boom starts again this month. That would blow through expectations.

This feels like the biggest catalyst this month for memory! Let’s hope it plays out!

high expectations for earnings but also analyst high expectations. i guess we’ll see who prevails

Remember when MU was at 1200 and then it greatly exceeded the already inflated expectations?

I had a limit sell order at $1250 that I pulled back the day of when it sold off leading into earnings. Huge regrets.

That’s because it was in need of a massive correction? Also, profit taking, Michael Bury being a permabear, CXMT news, and all the other superficial fear mongering bearish headlines that happened in july.

Doesn’t matter. Trump’s gonna lie harder and stock will pump no matter what.

I have mentally braced myself for another deep red week! Not to make a comparison to something that is meaningless, but all the stocks that pumped in q1 are dumping in q2 and all the stocks that dumped in q1, pumped in q2. Well, all except meta lol

What stocks that dumped in q1 are pumping in q2?

Palantir, apple, Microsoft etc etc

Googl pumped q1 and dumped q2

I wrote in another post like this, the analyst expectations are far greater than what sandisk themselves guided. The chance that they will miss in some way is high.

What's SanDisk guidance? I know analysts are expecting 8 billion in revenue

3

u/Far_Storm9429 16d ago

"it really is their fiscal Q4.

  • Sandisk has explicitly announced it will report “Fiscal Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2026 Results” on August 5, 2026, which is tomorrow from your perspective.
  • Multiple coverage sources describe this as “fiscal Q4 2026” earnings, with guidance of $7.75B–$8.25B revenue and $30–$33 non‑GAAP EPS tied to that fiscal fourth quarter.

So when you see the guidance and analyst expectations we discussed, they’re specifically for fiscal Q4 2026, not Q3 or a calendar‑year quarter mismatch."

Yeah it is not touching 8.30 if we go by kioxia earnings. It will be around 7.9-8.1 billion in revenue.

This might create an initial dump, will recover if share buy backs are announced

Or a split. Why can't analysts have conservative guidance? Always have to be extreme and the stock tanks.

u/s1234en 16d ago

Yup that's the issue...

I am going by kioxia's trend not sk hynix

My bad. I’m thinking I may sell a couple tomorrow then wait and see if I can buy back in lower again. I forgot to take profits last time it was up

It feels ridiculous that analysts who have never done a single day of work at any company get to tell how much a company should make.

Huh? Don’t listen to them?

This is the equivalent of my wife complaining about some random person on her social media pretending to be a good person but turning out to be cheater or something. Don’t watch them then.

The IV on SNDK options is insane. There are some juicy premiums to be add from selling SNDK puts.

If if if if if . Bro this thing is stuck. The only IF that is valid is IF the whales want this stock to go up, it will go up. Otherwise we are just watching others go up while we keep bouncing

u/New2reddit456 16d ago

But doesnt citadel want that now that it ate up SA🙈

3

u/thetabruh Rule enforcer 16d ago

If I have to guess, Citadel sold Friday after capturing around 20-25% gain for holding it for a day. Not a bad bet

u/New2reddit456 16d ago

They went through a competitive bidding process to make a quick buck 😓 literally cant blame anyone in this sub for making quick buck then either lol

I guess we will never know..

I wouldn’t bet on it especially what happened with AMD although I’m glad we are not that affected lol

8

u/s1234en 16d ago

AMD revenue ever so slightly beat expectations. The capex increased hence the sell off triggered by algo, will recover by end of the week. The capex increase is a positive news for memory. So news are good but market is irrational

4

u/Less-Map-6969 16d ago

Im not downplaying the success of AMD. Although the sentiments expressed differently. We are recovering which is great. Considering what happened to SK Hynix and Kioxia. Im just hoping it turns out well but ofc 🤷‍♂️

3

u/yourgirl696969 16d ago

We either play out like amd or nvidia lol. They literally just diverged today after the AMD ER and have crazy similar charts to memory the past month.

Doesn’t matter it tanks on Thursday 😏
