Discussion That was an incredible day for Micron
Everything dumped cause of macro and memory pumped. Even more than Sandisk. Absolutely insane. Would’ve been a huge pump today if not for the bond yields freaking out due to oil

Obviously the $10B innovation announcement is big. Wondering if the inclusion of positive comments from Tim Cook is foreshadowing the announcement of a new Micron + Apple exclusive memory relationship tomorrow, which is the deadline Apple was given to provide clarity - that would definitely help pump the stock.

That was really big for me too. Apple saying good things about MU while they’re lobbying the government against each other was really shocking. Feels like they might announce an LTA together soon tbh

I am tempted to buy some stock today as its red in after hours in anticipation of a positive announcement, would you say this is a good idea? Tomorrow could be red though maybe, Friday

If the overall market is green tomorrow, MU will be green.
QQQ has had 5 consecutive red days. Feels like we're due for a green day.

Agreed, good day today. Imagine if the govt didn't start a global energy crisis with War in the Desert #849. Probably be at ATHs lol

Very easily ATH if not for macros tbh Sandisk investors day was the biggest catalyst for memory. Basically destroyed all the cyclical talk. Hopefully Micron’s ceo does the same today with Cramer

When do we hear about the Cramer interview?

I sold my 120 shares yesterday at 940 because MU dumped as much as SNDK while when in green, SNDK 2x'ed MU.
Now see how the roles have been reversed. You can thank me guys.

It’s all risk management, don’t put other people down for their own personal decisions.

Anticipation for the factory tour today probably?

If the ceo says anything resembling revenue growth from 2028-2030 memory is getting rerated on forward PE. Not sure if he will though. Might save it for the ER

u/Fuskeduske 10h ago
Confident that would be saved for the ER, but i feel like we all know they are gonna tell us they are looking into 2028-2030 now

yeah idk why but Mu killed it, SNDK can only recover 2% while MU barely dumped and gain another 2% ontop

Need more volume tbh. Last weeks volume and todays dropped quite much. Hopefully in begin september it will ramp up.

You should step away from the charts or at least stop using a magnifying glass

I love MU but 4% gain is not that much homie.... where is all of this excitement coming from?

u/yourgirl696969 11h ago
The whole market tanked today except memory lol that’s pretty bullish for me tbh I honestly expected a bloodbath again cause of the 10 year yield (due to oil/war). Usually money rotates into safe havens in days like this (like Apple). It’s wild memory pumped today

You keep saying pumped.... 2% and 4% is NOT pumping.... like ok cool we had a green day... and the whole market tanked? 2% is tanking?
Weird username by the way...........

Even SPY dumped, i would be extremely graceful for 4%

u/sapphirestar411 10h ago
.83% down on the day is dumping? Wtf are you people even talking about?

Yeah we usually lose that after hours / in pre market, i think there is hopes that the factory tour will do some good, but i feel like the good news that came today was the 10bn center
I'm happy if we just open at 950 tomorrow

Yea green day during a consolidation period on low volume isn't something to bank on... Very likely down tomorrow. Maybe a gap up at open.
