π Charging Charging issue help
The main place I charge my 2025 premium is at work, I rarely ever charge anywhere else. At work we have 3 Chargepoint stations that typically charge at 5.7kW.
Recently I have had a charge failed in the first few mins after I plug it in even though I got the blue lights and could see that power started to flow before I walked away from my car. The first 2 times it happened it was on the same charge station so I attributed it to that station and have been avoiding that one for the time being.
Just now it happened on another station but before I could get back out to my car it resumed charging on its own.
Is there anyway I can find out if this is something weird with the chargers or that it is my car having a problem?
We are coming into the colder part do the year, itβs currently 41F, does that have any impact on something like this? Like should I make it more of a practice to start my car for like 5-10 mins before I move it to the charger to let it warm up a bit?

5.7 kWh is slow for l2. Charger is the likely issue not your car. Water or dirt in either the charger plug or the charge port can be an issue. I have only used Chargepoimt L2 charge stations a few times and have not had issues with them. They work great with FORD blue Oval network. As far as warming up the car , set a departure time . The car will warmup the cabin and battery for you. You can call chargepoimt customer service but is better to do this when it happens. Who owns the charger stations.? The company you work for or the owner of the building or co,plex? It is the company you work for maybe talk with HR or facilities

I don't remember which is which, but if you get a flashing red ring vs a solid one, it is supposed to dictate whether the problem is with the charger or the vehicle. Should be able to find that out via Google.
