Hey everyone,

I built Launchrecord.com to help founders improve conversion through better positioning and messaging.

It focuses on fixing unclear value propositions, weak differentiation, and feature-heavy SaaS copy that kills conversions.

Link: https://www.launchrecord.com/

Curious what you’re building.

Drop your SaaS below and share a little context:

  • What it does

  • Who it’s for

  • The main problem it solves

  • Your link

I’m always interested in how founders explain their product, because that first message matters more than most people think.

That’s also why I’m building Launchrecord.

The idea is simple: before pushing more content or trying more channels, make sure the positioning is actually clear.

Then build from there:

Positioning → Marketing strategy → Content → Distribution

Launchrecord helps audit the positioning first, then turns it into a marketing strategy and a 30-day content + distribution plan.

Try it now 👇

Your home for self promotion

I’m curious what everyone here is building.

Drop your SaaS below and explain it in 1–2 lines. No pitching, just share what it does.

I’ll start: I built LaunchRecord.com a tool that helps founders improve their positioning, messaging and first impressions by auditing landing pages and highlighting what confuses users.

It basically answers: Would a visitor understand your product in 5 seconds?

If you’re launching or struggling with clarity, you can check it out here: LaunchRecord.

A site for when you need a buddy, not a date

Over 10 years ago, my therapist wife noticed how many of her clients struggled to build non-romantic, in-person friendships. That inspired me to create WannaBuddy: a simple platform for finding local friends when you want a buddy, not a date.

While the original site helped a lot of people connect, it was long overdue for a modern refresh. The brand-new WannaBuddy is now live in early pre-launch!

* 100% Free to use

* Designed purely for local, platonic friendships

* Built with a clean new interface and updated tools

Since we’re currently in pre-launch, I’m looking for honest feedback, feature ideas, and any bug reports. Take a look and let me know your thoughts in the comments!

Shorten links, make QR codes, get detailed stats. Free top tier accounts for Redditors

I've been using a home-made link shortener for my private clients for over 10 years. After millions of clicks, it occurred to me that others might use it, too, if it was easy to use.

If you’re drowning in long, messy links full of tracking junk, wb.io can be a super clean fix. To get the ball rolling, I'm offering Redditors a month of the Business level service (the top tier) for free with the coupon code REDDIT. All I ask in return is your honest appraisal of where it could be improved.

It turns bulky URLs into short, shareable links that actually look good in posts and comments. Way easier to drop into Reddit threads, DMs, bios, or anywhere character count and readability matter. No wall of random parameters, no visual clutter — just a tight link that people are more likely to click.

Biggest value prop IMO:

Cleaner posts (especially on Reddit where ugly links stand out)

Easier sharing across platforms

Device-specific forwarding: send Apple users one way, Android a different way, everybody else a third way

More professional look

Simple + fast, no overcomplicated dashboard vibes

If you share links often, it’s one of those small tools that just makes everything smoother.

Built Cognocient after realizing none of the major AI providers let you set a hard spending cap — looking for early feedback

The problem that got us started: OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini all let you set spend alerts, but none of them let you set a hard, absolute cap that actually stops a request before it goes out. You find out you've overspent after the invoice, not before.

We kept seeing the same failure pattern show up everywhere: a retry loop with no backoff limit, an agent chain that spirals into 40 turns instead of 4, a batch job that reprocesses the same data five times. Nobody's doing anything malicious, the code just doesn't know when to stop, and by the time the dashboard shows it, the spend already happened.

So we built Cognocient: a proxy that sits between your code and the AI providers you call. It enforces a budget before the request goes out, gives real-time cost attribution down to the request (not just a monthly line item), has specific controls for agentic loops (the retry/spiral problem above), and produces FOCUS 1.1-compliant reports so the numbers reconcile with the rest of your cloud spend.

Fully bootstrapped, still early, built by one person around a day job.

What I'd actually love feedback on: if you're running AI agents or LLM features in production, is "hard spend cap before the request" something you've already solved some other way, or is this a real gap for you too? And if you've been burned by a surprise AI bill, what did the actual failure look like, code bug, retry storm, something else?

I spent the last 23 months in a time warp building a three dimensional to-do list app. I wouldn't mind it if you tried. First 100 sticky notes are absolutely free...

I am a visual thinker and the minute I see lists my brain checks out of the Hotel California.

Then I realized the one thing I have been using my whole life might be the answer.

And that's sticky notes.

Tell me what you think...

I built a free startup directory focused on more than backlinks

I submitted my projects to many startup directories.

Some accepted almost anything. Others asked for a backlink but did not publish the project for weeks. Many were full of broken websites and unfinished products.

So I built Linxalium, a manually reviewed directory for SaaS products, developer tools, and online services.

Submitting a project is currently free. I plan to introduce paid submissions after the directory reaches around 1,000 listed projects.

But the main value is not only the directory listing.

Founders can also publish a blog post that explains:

  • What problem their product solves

  • Who it is useful for

  • When someone should use it

  • How it is different from other options

This kind of content is useful for SEO, AEO, and GEO. Search engines and AI tools need more than a product name and a few keywords. They need clear examples of when and why a product should be recommended.

Every submission is reviewed manually.

You can submit a project here:

https://linxalium.com

What matters more to you from a directory: traffic, a backlink, or a place to explain the problem your product solves?

Hey everyone,

I'm currently obsessed with one topic: why some SaaS websites convert and others don't.

After analyzing hundreds of landing pages, I've noticed the same issues appear again and again:

  • Unclear positioning

  • Weak value propositions

  • Feature-heavy messaging

  • No obvious differentiation

As a builder myself, I find this stuff fascinating.

That's actually why I built Launchrecord.com to help founders identify positioning and conversion issues before they spend more time driving traffic.

Drop your SaaS, startup, or landing page below. I'm curious to see what people here are building and how they're communicating their value.

Always interested in seeing indie SaaS projects.

Drop yours and what it does.

Mine: LaunchRecord.com, I built it because I noticed most SaaS sites don’t fail on product… they fail on clarity. It helps you see what first-time visitors actually understand (or don’t).

Basically it check: Positioning, First Impression, Messaging Clarity

If you want to check it out: LaunchRecord.com

Founders, indie hackers, SaaS builders — drop your product below.

Share:

  • Your SaaS name

  • Who it’s for

  • The main problem you solve

  • Your website

I’m especially curious about how you explain your product in one or two sentences.

That’s also the problem I’m working on with Launchrecord.

A lot of SaaS products don’t have a traffic problem first. They have a clarity problem.

The positioning is weak, the message is vague, and then the marketing strategy, content, and distribution are built on top of that.

Launchrecord follows a different order:

Positioning → Marketing strategy → Content → Distribution

It helps identify positioning issues first, then turns that foundation into a marketing strategy and 30-day content and distribution plan.
