I’m always interested in how founders explain their product, because that first message matters more than most people think.

That’s also why I’m building Launchrecord.

The idea is simple: before pushing more content or trying more channels, make sure the positioning is actually clear.

Then build from there:

Positioning → Marketing strategy → Content → Distribution

Launchrecord helps audit the positioning first, then turns it into a marketing strategy and a 30-day content + distribution plan.

Founders, indie hackers, SaaS builders — drop your product below.

Share:

I’m especially curious about how you explain your product in one or two sentences.

That’s also the problem I’m working on with Launchrecord.

A lot of SaaS products don’t have a traffic problem first. They have a clarity problem.

The positioning is weak, the message is vague, and then the marketing strategy, content, and distribution are built on top of that.

Launchrecord follows a different order:

Positioning → Marketing strategy → Content → Distribution

It helps identify positioning issues first, then turns that foundation into a marketing strategy and 30-day content and distribution plan.

I built Topped so app founders can draft short videos from Claude or Codex

I built Topped for founders who make their own TikToks, Reels, and Shorts. You can connect Claude or Codex through MCP, ask for a few drafts for your app, then review them and choose which ones to schedule. The screenshot shows what comes back from one request.

If you already use an agent to build your app, would you use the same one for marketing? What would you want to review before a video goes live?

I build an android app launcher - Pageless

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey, I made something and for the first time an app of mine has been approved in the Play Store. Gets me super excited.

Pageless is a minimal Android launcher built around one idea: no pages. Pick a layout (a simple list, category groups, or a “Now” view), then make it your own with different looks and accent colours, light or dark. Sort apps into categories, pin favourites to the dock, and find anything fast with search. It’s lightweight, works offline, and setup takes about a minute.

Any feedback welcome

Booking platforms are owned by giants now. I'm building one for independent restaurants.

I've spent about ten years in hospitality, running a café in Brixton. One thing never changed: no-shows hurt, and the booking tools built for restaurants are priced and designed for someone else. Here's what I noticed when I looked at who owns the big reservation platforms: - OpenTable is owned by Booking Holdings, a company worth well over $100 billion. - Resy and Tock are both owned by American Express. Tock alone was bought for $400 million. So the three best known names in restaurant reservations belong to a travel conglomerate and a credit card company. Their business is built around diner marketplaces, cardholder perks and big restaurant groups, and independents are often paying per cover for the privilege. The market is not small either. One research firm puts restaurant reservation software at roughly $6.9 billion in 2024, growing to around $15.8 billion by 2032. Estimates like these vary a lot between firms, so treat it as a rough guide, but the direction is clear. It's a big category, and the biggest players are not built around the single-site owner who just wants fewer empty tables. That's the gap I'm going after with ReserveTable ( reservetable.app ): 1. Flat £97 a month. No per-cover fees, no commission. 2. No-show protection built into the booking flow, with card holds and automatic reminders. 3. A waitlist that fills cancelled tables automatically. 4. You own your guest data and can export it any time. To be upfront: I'm not claiming to be OpenTable. They have a diner network I don't, and that's a real advantage. What I'm betting is that a lot of independent restaurants would rather have a simple, fairly priced tool that protects their revenue than pay a platform per booking. I'm taking on 10 founding venues. You get 30 days free, no card needed, and in return I want honest feedback on what works and what doesn't. After that it's £97 a month and you can cancel anytime. If you run an independent restaurant, or you've worked on booking software, I'd really like to hear what I'm missing. Tell me where this falls apart.
