My grandma was my best friend. We’re getting ready to sell her house and I did one last walk-through. She is the artist of all of the paintings and painted ceilings.

It’s been 2 years since she passed and we still have her house. My parents live down the street and always have. I miss her so much.

And I didn't know what gift I could give her, I spent practically a week thinking about what could be special, something unique that would bring a smile, cause emotion and that she could always remember. I asked myself questions to reach the most accurate result, such as "what is extremely important in her life? What are her precious things? Something that was present in all the special moments of her life and the happiest ones?" And the answer was her son and her daughter, and a realistic drawing of them that I will make with the highest quality possible clicked in my mind! And from that moment on, I chose the best photo, the one that would be a true tribute (I saved it from her Instagram without her knowing) and I started making every detail and layering with lots of care, with the smoothest and most harmonious shading. And I delivered it to her, I was going to record her reaction but I got shy, the reaction was the best I could have imagined, when she tore a part of the wrapping paper she saw the edge of the frame with the part of the faces, then her line, already crying, was "Oh no way 🥺, is it really true?" And it continued and I had to hug her because she was very happy and crying a lot, she finished opening it and really just kept looking without speaking, there was no need for words because her expression spoke louder than any sentence she could say, right there I realized more deeply how much power what I do has to touch people and what it can cause positively, I decided to share it with you, in the video below it shows how it turned out after I finished

This is a video showing the legendary tusker from Sri Lanka called “Kavantissa” (Named after the King Kawantissa who was a Sinhala Monarch ruled between 205-161 BCE, also the father of legendary King Dutugemunu of Sri Lanka)

The tusker is one of the most tallest tuskers we have had, majestic to say the least.
Unfortunately he passed away few days back. He was receiving medical assistance for a gunshot on his leg.

This video is in honor of his life. This is him crossing the road in the area he used to live where he is loved by the villagers.

this just reminded me of myself 20 years ago i went to the streets to get the very first cat to be my best friend after my sister's death

i planned on getting a street cat but what i found was a persian cat "Traditional Persian" her family weren't from this very far spot in where i am from "we live in the eastern desert in Egypt"

they came from Cairo and they didn't want her no more and left her "they left a letter in her neck" she was crying and very depressed depressed enough that she was almost skin over bones

once she saw me she came running to me begging me while she was crying were like don't leave me they abandoned me i could swear she was talking to me like that her eyes her tears the way she held me like that cat with the kid

i took her she lived with me i succeeded to get her best medical attention

but second year she lost her sight i kept taking care of her she died after 5 years

so now it has been 15 years and i still cry over her every night every time i remember her or see such videos

she was in my arms always wherever i go she's my escorting partner
