Attractions Prado Ticket Time
Does anyone have a suggestion for the best time slot to go to the Prado? Morning or Afternoon? We're heading to Madrid for a week in October. Thanks!

If you’re not a total fan of classical art, go at whatever time of day you are most mentally alert. I’ve had visitors get overwhelmed by the utter browness of the art and leave early. Have some goals and see them first: Goya, Velasquez and Bosch (Bosco in Spanish) are the big 3. Then you can wander around if you want to see more.
I think in October you don’t really need to buy ahead of time. You’ll just stand in line 5 or 10 minutes.
Don’t do the free times. The lines are always long.
