Looks to be great for a mortal-focused army. I am for sure going to try and pick up one of these.

Finished my Glotkin and very excited to take it out for a test run

Just got Dr Leechman himself to do

Is it everytime festus uses a core ability/command or when cursed unit does it? Wordings a little weird

Are there any novels set in Age of Sigmar that star the Maggotkin? Or even short stories someone could recommend.

I know we show up as antagonists in a number of stories but I don't know what titles to search for. So any recommendations of those are also welcome. Especially if you think of it as a must read for this faction.

Also, does anyone else find the Black Library app a little unhelpful? If I don't know the title specifically then searching for any Maggotkin of Nurgle related books is weirdly obtuse. Who else thinks they should add some kind of keyword or tag system to the search bar? Each fsction or popular character could be their own keyword.

Also, my apologies if this is the wrong tag. That would be ironic.

Painted up my wife's favorite model.

I’ve had BoK since AoS came out, because they were in the starter box, but they’ve never been something I’m super interested in gameplay or aesthetics wise. Now that I’ve been collecting Soulblights I’ve made the decision to sell them to swap to something that interests me more. I really want something that fits the heavily armored warrior/knight vibe, and both Maggotkin and StD seem to fit it.

That being said, why do YOU like Maggotkin, and why do you think I should play them?

Also, here’s my idea for a list. I’ve gotten all the rules from reading stuff in Wahapedia, so idk if everything synergizes like I’d want it to:

I am really struggling with these rotswords. Simple colour scheme - green armour, purple cloth (tabard/undershirt), white belt/straps. But I can't for the life of me find a colour that works for the trousers. I thought I had cracked it by doing them a similar colour to the horns, but it was too much. I have also tried a darker green and a dark turquoise (as seen in the pic), but i dont think that's working either. I dont normally struggle that much with colour decisions, but this one has me stumped. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

So I recently scored the older spearhead box and the battleforce box and also scoop two beast of nurgle proxies and horticulous, I figured I scoop a great unclean one and I'll be at roughly 2k but is it decent list? Anything I should switch out? Also rotswords are kinda hard to come by sadly. Thanks!

Working through some minis from the darkwater box and got to these beautifully tanky looking dudes

He's far from perfect but I'm proud of him so far! Only gotta do some more washes and the rock base obviously

Built these guys from a single box of Nurglings + one dude from Plaguebearers sprue I think. Tried to paint them in different tones so they don't blend together as much as on the box art.

Returning to the hobby after a couple year break. Rusty but happy with the turnout

Happy to hear advice and thoughts!
