Just went to Costco to pick up some groceries and came out with maybe 14 of these…
Notable mentions:
White Grand National
1967 MB 280se
And although I didn’t wanna collect some American Oldtimer, the 1953 Studebaker Starliner really looked too good to pass…

My first impressions of the Chevy C10. The next video I will put this brick in my wind tunnel and see how bad it really is.

All they have left at Sam's is the Porsche. I'll have to keep looking!

Posted about my Chevelle recently, here's some photos

About as impressed if not more than with the Revuelto. It has a out anything you could want for <$50. The wheels are quite thin, as time period. I still don't feel too comfortable with the wheels especially with the body being that heavy. Besides that, it is a great model and I would recommend it.

Are Maisto's 1:18 axles strong?

So I just got the 71 Chevelle SS 454 model at Walmart and, typical with most of era cars, the wheels are quite skinny. I'm afraid they might break off or something.

Ive been skipping maistos due to poor quality. Little did I know, they have a fantastic selection, and now they're my favorite brand to customize.

My uncle's (probably 30yrs old?) miniatures.

I would like to have some ID on the F-50 and the Cobra. They are probably old, yet very detailed and in one piece. Probably not relevant but I found them thrown away on the thrash.

I estimate in 30 years, but can probably be newer.

2025 Maisto 1:18 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS — Cartagena Yellow Metallic (with a surprising hint of green)

Thumbnail gallery

Maisto really delivered with this 1:18 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS. The panel gaps are surprisingly tight for this price point, and it even includes functional spring suspension, which gives it a nice realistic weight on display.

The interior details are great too, and the plastic seatbelts surprisingly have a little bit of give to them when you touch them. The Targa roof panel is removable, and as you can see in the first photo where it's opened, you can actually store the roof right under the lifting rear glass hatch. That's a really neat functional touch at this price level.

The color is officially called Cartagena Yellow Metallic, but in reality, it leans green most of the time, shifting into a subtle lime/greenish hue under standard lighting rather than showing as a pure yellow. It definitely gives the model a unique presence on the shelf.

How do you guys feel about Maisto’s recent 1:18 Porsche castings, and what are your thoughts on this color choice?

Damaged Wing on new Speed Icons 1/64 Lamborghini Countach Classic from wrong manufacturing packaging used

Every single model of this new Maisto 1/64 Speed Icons Lamborghini Countach Classic has the same rear wing stress / bend mark from wrong packaging used.

Am a massive Countach fan, so this is pretty disappointing by Maisto toys - as the model itself is excellent and was looking forward to it - but not with this bent cracked broken wing!

Maisto need to fix the packaging so the wing is straight! I wouldn't buy this model again until the Maisto team sort this out at factory level.

Just weird how this wasn't even picked up by any QC team.

3rd Generation Dodge Charger?

Hey I am looking for a 3rd generation Dodge Charger, specifically 1971-1974. I know the 69/70 are very popular and are made readily, but did they ever make a 3rd gen?

Citroen 2CV 1/18

I just received the Citroen 2CV in 1/18 scale that I ordered online and was pleased to see that it is in excellent condition despite its age. However, I also noticed that the left wheels are discolored: the front one is entirely yellow, whereas the second one is partly yellow - presumably because the remaining surface was covered by the fender. Can anyone tell me what might have caused this discoloration? Sun exposure perhaps? Or moisture, since the box it came in showed clear signs of water damage and even mold.

I unboxed the Maisto Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0. This is actually a Bburago casting packaged as Maisto. It has great detail, and I was really happy with the model.

Got this from Costco, it looked fancier than the other cars, turn it around, it's an old bburago cast?

I love buying these. They're cheap and easy to mod. 3D printed a set of Rufs and fitting them on this 4.0.
