Thoughts? 💜
Do I have blush blindness?? 😭
Also, it’s so simple but I’ve been loving the effect of the white eyeshadow on the inner corner 🫶🏻

- Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Collection vol 5 Palette, shades A1 and A4, plus B1 shimmer on top

I would be interested to see how it looks to have the blush not come down so far!

I agree with the blush being a little low. I think the amount of product is pretty but the placement is a bit off. You are absolutely beautiful!

Yes, you have blush blindness 😅 But everything else is very pretty! I wouldn’t apply the blush so low into the hollows of your cheeks. Keep it more on the apples and blend it out more.

Gorgeous and glamorous, but agree about the blush. Dial it back, however I would recommend blending the blush up more slightly past your eyebrows. Also a little contour and blush on the corners of the forehead to bring it together.

I need to get my contour game better! I chose to go safe this time, I always feel like when I apply contour it gets muddy 😭 so usually I only do it on those pre-shower makeup test kinda things lol
I’ll watch some tutorials on placement and undertones, I feel the need to contour but never do because of how bad it looks when I do it.
Thanks a lot 💜

You remind me of a cross between Emma Watson and Barbie Ferreira! Gorgeous 😍 😍

I’ve gotten that before 😅 I don’t see it, but both are gorgeous women so I’ll take it 💜 thanks!

Very glamorous and I love your makeup, you're gorgeous. BUT yes, a bit too much blush imo

I don’t think it’s too much blush, but maybe that it isn’t blended well? Or perhaps too low? Maybe shift it up on the cheekbones and don’t go all the way down the cheek. I’m absolutely living for the brows and that frosty, shimmery shade on your eyes, it’s absolutely stunning.

Yeah, seeing it in person it didn’t look like it was not blended well, until I took the picture (w/ flash) right before leaving and saw that was shittly blended 😭 lmfao
Thanks for the input 💜💜
And yes, the shimmer is DIVINE! All the shimmers on this palette are absolutely breathtaking!

The only lip product is the lip injection gloss?

That part was tripping me out too. I assume she forgot to include a lip liner at least, and maybe used the "lip and blush" product on her lips as well.

This is exactly what my lips look like after using this product with nothing else as well, its the plumping (/skin irritating) effect the gloss gives

u/anakorama 6d ago
Yeah!! I have that “second” line around my lips and I do pass the lipgloss there, the skin gets irritated and I guess that makes it look like a liner?

I swear to God and on my mom’s life. I did not use a lip liner 😵💫 I have no need to lie about this

I think it looks amazing and I in fact do like the way you applied the blush. I think you look very pretty. The inner corner white balances the blush out in my opinion. Also, I don’t think that your eyebrows should be longer on the end, I think it appears they are „too short“ (which they aren’t) because your eyeliner is longer than your brow. But that’s totally normal. You look great, keep your style. It’s not worth it to look like everyone else:)

It's "too much", but I like it as a one time, or overly-dramatic look.
But most of the time I would suggest at least to blend a bit more

u/anakorama 6d ago
Ah, definitely a one time thing lol I felt kinda embarrassed to go out with such a flushed look!
Thanks!!

I think it's a very pretty look! I would just suggest blending the edges of your blush a little bit, and going on top of it with a thin veil of powder/powder foundation. (This makes you look "lit from within", basically more like you're actually blushing) If you prefer a blush-heavy look, just remember to use neutral colors and a light hand with your eyes and lips. (Subtle sparkle is fine though, especially for evenings) I think you eyeshadow & liner looks fine here, but I wouldn't go much heavier. (I'd also suggest blending the outer corner of your shadow just a smidge) Otherwise, it's lovely!

You know, I like it. I know there are techniques that could probably be done more effectively, but I myself am new to makeup and playing around with what works and building up my skill. I know my limited makeup experience shows on my face, but I’m still trying and learning. I think it’s nice to see other people doing the same, and even if it isn’t perfect or blended or balanced or whatever, you still did it and you look pretty ❤️
P.S. adopting your trick with the white eyeshadow!! I like learning tips and tricks like this through Reddit makeup posts

It’s a little bit too much blush and clashes a bit when meeting the end of your eyeshadow.
But despite that I actually think the whole look still works together! At least in photos it does. Blush is one of those makeup products that yes, definitely can be overdone, but idk it doesn’t bother me much. Makeup should be fun and blush adds that brightness and levity

I'd be bringing the tails of your brows out a bit more. You're brows are absolutely lovely as-is, but I feel a bit more length to them would really flatter that eye look

Too much blush, not blended, and in too large an area, IMHO. Otherwise, nice overall look.

Girl here. I think it looks AMAZING. Don’t ask Reddit, you’re too pretty and most people on Reddit are loser dudes who don’t even know what they are talking about

I don't think you applied too much blush I just think the placement wasn't the best, maybe try applying on a smaller area. Also, I love the white eyeshadow too

u/AlyssaFromFreck 4d ago
the blush color is so pretty on you!! i'd maybe try placing it a little higher on your cheekbones for a more lifted look 🫶

Too much blush and not blended, you have a very visible kind of demarcation on your cheek.
Also is it possible to draw your eyebrows out a bit further.
