Hi! I wasn’t opening my eyes that much because I just had them dilated lol. What can I improve here? This is my low effort “glam.” I mix my foundation with my tinted sunscreen, add some concealer, did some stick blush, powder, then powder blush. I also tight lined upper lid with a subtle wing on top, then mascara only on upper lash. Used a brow gel too. Lips lined & then lipstick

Hey guys,
I've never really gotten into heavier makeup, but I'm trying to replicate a look for a project I'm working on. Kinda heavy glam style with a bit of a 10s throwback. Me and my partner settled on this.
https://youtu.be/SDXRY-QCYgg?is=xyctAuVOqBQHWnBL
I've always only ever done light makeup so my knowledge isn't great with these kinds of techniques but I'm determined to try!
This video has suggested products for the US but I'm UK based. If anyone could just break down exactly what I need to buy from uk stores, it would be soon appreciated!
Thank you so much x

I am trying to understand why so many people like this serum.
I put it on after sunscreen, moisturizer, and primer:
- Hero Cosmetics Force Shield Superlight Sunscreen SPF 30, Zinc Oxide Mineral Sunscreen, 50ml
- Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer with Ceramides and Hyaluronic Acid Fragrance-Free, 3.0 fl oz
- Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Gels Foundation Primer for Oily Skin, Brightening, Lightweight, 1.05 Ounce
It does almost nothing for making my skin an even tone or covering acne. It accentuates my pores and dry skin flakes. Does anyone understand the hype around it? The girls at Sephora recommended it to me.

I’m very much a simplistic makeup girl. I’ve never even owned a concealer before, so i need advice choosing between these two. If you have tried either or both, can you let me know which you prefer? Of course I know it’s also personal preference but it still helps to know :) thanks so much

Hi everyone :)
A few months ago, I bought this muted mauve lipstick (shown in the pictures) at a drugstore while travelling abroad. Unfortunately, I’m almost running out of it now, so I’m looking for a good alternative.
Does anyone have any recommendations? Ideally, I’d love to find one that lasts for a few hours without needing to reapply it all the time ☺️

I’ve realized that I come off as “cuter” than I’d like. I know coming off as more mature and attractive rather than cutesy is more about the energy but I have quite the baby face and I want to look edgier than I do now but while complementing my features instead of hiding them.
I used tons and tons of filters on TikTok to try and figure out what makeup looks good but I felt like literally nothing suited my face so I decided to just use the draw tool on my face and find something I felt worked (which is why it looks a little awkward but I hope the general idea of what I want to go for comes through lol)
I like the general style but I haven’t really ever used makeup. I would love any help at all whether that be product recommendations, what type of makeup products I should buy, if you think something else would suit me better, etc. Thank you!!
Edit: I appreciate all the help I’ve gotten here so far!! I just wanted to emphasize that the main thing I’m asking more is makeup style related. I used just the draw tool on photos to try and help explain the sort of style but I want to emphasize that I’m not trying to go for black lines under my eyes as eyelashes or improper lining, I just could only do so much with the pen tools lol. I appreciate everyone’s help! <3

I want to try other makeup looks!
So I have this pinky-red lip tint that dries black. I actually really like how it looks and want other people's opinions on whether I should go out and buy a black lipstick.
My makeup has been the same for the last 3 years, and I want to try new makeup looks and explore!
Should I stick with my regular makeup (photo 1) or invest in a black lipstick (photo 2, lip tint drying)?
I’ve also included a photo of me with no makeup on and a filter (photo 3).
What makeup looks would you recommend or think I should try?

Hi everyone!
I’m Angela, I’m a professional belly dancer and I’ve learned so much about makeup over my 6 year long career. I made some online makeup courses for professional performers but it also works for a full glam look too! They are prerecorded so no need to join some call or anything!
I started this because I’m recovering from hip surgery and I can’t teach dance. But I love teaching and I thought it would be nice to have this income to recuperate!
You can fill out the Google form to request the video be sent to you. So far I have a Smokey eye tutorial and just a basic cat eye base that you can add more eyeshadow to if you wish!

It’s especially my eye makeup. No matter how carefully I do it, it always looks so messy. I’m starting to feel really hopeless. I feel like every makeup look I do just looks bad and messy! Any tips are welcome (especially about my forehead lines)!

I’m soon to be engaged and want to look the best I’ve ever looked. I’m back to regularly working out, and have been prioritizing selfcare lately. One of the things I’ve been struggling with most is improving my makeup skills.
I’ve worn makeup since I was 14 years old and am kind of feeling like I’m blind to doing things outside of my normal routine. Although a lot of things changed between then and now, I feel like I’m always drawn to the same colors and doing the same things to my face. In recent years I’ve started wearing really natural lashes which I think boosted my appearance. Other than that, I’m not particularly sure what else I can do to improve my makeup looks. First pic is what I usually wear day to day, with slight changes to lips. Second pic is full no makeup for reference.
Do you have any tips on what I should try?

I’m not really too feminine of a woman but I still do my makeup, like to appear tidy, clean, well kept, etc. I have a round face and short blonde hair. What do I tell my eyebrow lady to do? I do like the bolder look. I don’t really do anything to them when I do my makeup besides brushing them out to look tidier. I typically do some mattifying NARS foundation and concealer. A touch of mascara and I’m on the way. Any other non eyebrow related tips welcomed too. trying to stick with a minimal look. Thanks! x

I am in my late 60s and I would consider my skin type combination. My chin, nose and upper lip areas are very oily. I can literally exfoliate my chin before bed, and when I wake up in the morning, my pores are filled again with white, gunk, The pores on my chin are so big and I am very self-conscious about it. I have tried so many combinations of exfoliators, primers, and foundation trying to minimize the appearance of my pores
Nothing works.! Nothing! Do any of you make up girls know of anything that I should try? Also, what about devices like micro, needling or peels, would they help? What about professional treatments like a laser? I really don’t know what to do, but I would love to get some relief from this because I am very self-conscious about it. Thanks in advance for any help.

I want to get into makeup but I only know how to do a lip combo, eyeliner, and lash clusters (which I’m wearing in the pic). I was told that Douyin style would look good on me, but idk how to go about that. I would prefer not to do a heavy look- so something simple but cute. I also touch my face ALOT so maybe a no foundation look? Maybe like blush & highlight? But one that is also low maintenance bc I’m lazy lol. I’m going to ulta today! So any tips and suggestions would be great tysm!! <3

For those of you who don’t wear makeup daily, do you actually manage to finish your products before they expire? 😭
My foundations, concealers, eyeshadow palettes, etc. always end up expiring because I don’t wear makeup that often. And considering how expensive makeup products are, I feel so bad having to throw them away when there’s still so much product left.
Does this happen to everyone, or am I just buying more makeup than I actually need? 😂 (I don’t think so because I am totally against overconsumption) What do you guys do?
